Yellowstone Season 5: New Cast Members and Release Date!

Yellowstone is the only original written series now on the Paramount Network, but who cares? With an average of 11 million people turning in each week to the show, it was the top-rated series of 2021 across broadcast, cable, and premium channels.

It's no surprise that the show has been extended for a fifth season, with guest performers Jen Landon and Kathryn Kelly becoming series regulars. As part of the network's rebranding (formerly known as Spike TV), the modern-day Western launched in 2018 and resonated with viewers.

Montana is the backdrop for this drama series, which centers on the Dutton family, owners of the most extensive contiguous cattle ranch in the United States.

Yellowstone, a film written and directed by Taylor Sheridan, starring Kevin Costner as patriarch John Dutton, a man who is fighting to maintain the ranch in the family as they battle property developers, a nearby Indian reservation, and a host of other adversaries in their effort to protect their history.

With more than 11 million people turning into the season finale, “Yellowstone continues to smash records,” ViacomCBS Media Networks CEO Chris McCarthy said. As part of our aim to franchise Yellowstone into a multi-series world, 1883 and Mayor of Kingstown have already proven to be two of the most popular games.

It's also worth noting that Costner declared on the 2022 Oscar red carpet, “I have no doubt there'll be additional spinoffs. In addition, he said, “I didn't even know about the spinoffs.” It's just a matter of “doing my thing, hitting my targets, and thinking, ‘Wow, this thing is going good.'”

Yellowstone Season 5: Plot

Season 4 ends with Beth seeing Jamie disposing of Garrett's body at the train station, putting him in an awkward situation. She scuttled his political future by taking some scathing images of him.

What are the implications for Jamie's future? Will Jamie be able to break out from under the Duttons now that his political ambitions have been thwarted, or will he be content to toe the line? Where will Garrett end up if Christina and their son are worried?

Warner has threatened Beth and the Dutton land. Beth, who was fired from her job by Caroline, may be able to take up the campaign manager role for her father. She is guaranteed to keep up her attacks on Market Equities and Caroline Warner.

The outcomes of Kayce's quest for a vision are not what he expected. What was the name of the woman who helped him see the future? Do you think that's his unborn kid, or is it someone else entirely?

What are the chances that he would succeed his father in his current position as livestock commissioner or that he will run for governor in his place? Sheriff Haskell is stepping down, but who will take his place? Is the new sheriff in the Dutton family's corner?

Carter's fans question if he can regain Beth's confidence. We also wonder if Beth and Rip will ever make him an official part of their family. Let him call her “Momma” for the first time.

Considering Mia and Laramie's imminent departure from the Yellowstone ranch for the spinoff series, 6666, would Walker be able to leave for good? Whether or if it will continue is up in the air. Whether chili includes beans or not has been a source of discussion for a long time. We're still not sure what Teeter is saying, though.

In the next season of Yellowstone, we'll hopefully get the answers to these issues and many more.

Yellowstone Season 5: How Many Episodes?

The fifth season of Yellowstone will consist of fourteen episodes. The incredibly long season will be broken up into two distinct halves. The second through fourth seasons each included ten episodes. The first season only featured a total of nine episodes.

What Happened in Yellowstone Season 4?

If you haven't seen the complete fourth season yet, you should put this page on hold until you have. Beth was the focus of the season 4 finale. With her affairs in order, Beth asks Walker how she might get a weapon into the prison without being seen.

Beth is going to the jail to meet Terrell Riggins, but at first, it's unclear if she'll be seeing Summer or someone else. In the season 3 finale, Riggins was partially responsible for the assassination attempts on Beth, John, and Kayce's lives, but only in his capacity as a hired gun.

When Beth visits him, she intends to kill him with a single shot. After Riggins admits Jamie came to see him, she feels he is the one responsible for the attacks on her house and her family.

She then returns to the property, abducting a priest en route so she can wed Rip. As a result, she confronts Jamie about his role in the attempted assassination of the Duttons. Following his admission that he wasn't involved, Jamie is given three alternatives by Beth, who subsequently learns that Garrett was his birth father.

To save himself, Jamie decides to kill Garrett to save himself, but he is caught red-handed by Beth as he tries to dispose of Garrett's cold and lifeless body at the Train Station. The future of Kayce and Monica, as well as the Dutton family, is foretold in his search for enlightenment.

As a result of Summer's lengthy sentence, Caroline swears to wrest control of the Dutton property and all of its valuables from Beth. There was less of a bang in season 4 than in the season 3 or 4 premieres, but we have a feeling that season 5 is going to be just as crazy.
