The Salazars ultimately tell Adrian that Victor is gay the next morning, and he cheerfully accepts it. Mia is disappointed to find that her father plans to relocate her to California after the wedding, and she considers reuniting with her estranged mother. She makes him pledge that he will not take the job, but he breaks his vow.
Victor tells Benji that he will never understand his experience coming out to Latino parents after Benji becomes enraged at Victor for not siding with him against Isabel. Felix and Pilar become more intimate, and she kisses him. When Father Lawrence warns Adrian that Victor might go to hell for being gay, Isabel decides to stand up for her son and leave the church.
Victor confides in Rahim, and the two form a relationship through their shared experience as gay People of Color. Benji and Victor reconcile, but after learning that Victor revealed Benji's secrets to Rahim, Benji suggests that they take a break.
Victor decides to skip school with Rahim because of his strained relationships with Benji and Isabel. They observe Armando on a date with a friend from PFLAG throughout the day. Isabel discovers the boys after spending the day seeking for them after a good evening at a gay bar downtown.
Victor confides that he is concerned that Benji would end their connection, and that he was afraid to tell her because he assumed she would be relieved that his first gay romance was coming to an end.
Isabel expresses regret for the way she handled Victor's coming out and swears to love and accept him for who he is. Victor gets a call from Benji after dropping off Rahim, indicating they need more time apart and that he will not be his date to Mia's father's wedding. Wrapping Up
Love, Victor will inevitably answer the season 2 finale's major question: who will Victor choose? Victor finds himself growing closer to Rahim as his relationship with Benji encounters a snag. He eventually comes to the conclusion that he must choose between the two youngsters. He runs to one of their doors at the end of the season, but the episode cuts to black before the audience can see who is on the other side. Season 3 of Love, Victor will have to answer that question right away.
