Why Truth Season 2 is Cancelled?

Nick Frost, Simon Pegg, James Serafinowicz, and Nat Saunders created Truth Seekers, a British comedic horror streaming television series set to premiere in 2020. What the Truth Season is All About?

Gus Roberts is the chief engineer at Smyle, the largest mobile network operator and Internet service provider in the United Kingdom. He's also a dedicated paranormal investigator in his leisure time. Gus is initially unhappy when his employer David pairs him with new hire Elton John, but the two quickly establish a relationship and collaborate on both professional and paranormal projects, though Elton is less passionate than Gus in this area.

Astrid, a young lady pursued by many spirits through a residence and then a hospital, appears to be unconnected. She flees into the countryside to get away from the hospital. Elton's agoraphobic sister Helen, a frightened cosplayer, and Gus' unpleasant father-in-law Richard are also presented.

Will There be Truth Seekers Season 2?

Nick Frost and his crew of part-time paranormal investigators go to haunted places around the United Kingdom to investigate and film ghost sightings, then post their findings on an online website for all to see in the eight-episode series Truth Seekers. However, when they use their handmade ghost-detecting gizmos to search haunting ruins, underground bunkers, and abandoned hospitals, their odd encounters become increasingly vivid, scary, and even fatal, as they unearth a plot that might bring Armageddon to the whole human species.

The Truth Seekers is no longer on Amazon; the ghost-hunting comedy was cancelled after one season. Nick Frost, the show's co-creator and star, confirmed the news. “Unfortunately, Truth Seekers will not be renewed for a second season,” he announced in an Instagram video that has since been removed. “Truth Seekers hasn't been renewed, which is a major setback for me.” We put everything we had into this – our heart, soul, and blood in some cases – so not being able to return is really disappointing.
