Christine Baumgartner is a successful businesswoman, model, and creator of fashionable handbags. Her designs under the Cat Bag Couture label can be seen in Aspen area retailers and online.
She and Costner have been tremendously encouraging to each other professionally. “I showed to Kevin, and he said they were beautiful and amazing,” Baumgartner told the Denver Post in 2005.

How Did Kevin Costner & Christine Baumgartner Meet?
When Kevin was practicing for the role of Tin Cup in 1996, he and Michelle met on a golf course. In 1998, they met up again at a restaurant after being apart for a while. According to Kevin's interview with People, “We exchanged numbers, and I told her that I would-did she mind if I called her in two weeks.”
I had no idea it was such a sexist remark until you pointed it out to me. Their marriage, which came after years of courtship, almost didn't happen. Kevin and Christine's relationship stalled in 2002 as they disagreed on whether or not to start a family.
Christine was not willing to settle if she and Kevin, who already had four children, had anymore. Christine allegedly told Kevin, “If you're going to be with me, you need to know that kids are at the end of the road for me with you, if that's going to happen.”
According to Kevin's report in Parade, Christine told him, “I'm going to wait for you, but not long. Please reconsider our relationship when you gain your faculties. The answer is “Yes! [laughs] That's exactly what I did!”
When Did Kevin & Christine Get Married?
Celebrities Tim Allen and Don Johnson were among the guests at Kevin's ranch The Dunbar outside of Aspen, Colorado where the pair married the marriage in September 2004. Christine apparently came in a green vintage pickup vehicle, while Kevin rode up in a horse-drawn carriage. The Yellowstone actor still owns and rents out his 160-acre ranch.
Do Kevin and Christine Have Children?
Cayden Wyatt, 15, Hayes Logan, 14, and Grace Avery, 12 are their children. After his divorce from Cindy Silva, Kevin began dating Bridget Rooney, with whom he had three children.
During an interview with Closer, Kevin said, “I have played two roles in my life, one I get paid to do, which is the movies, and the other is being a father, for which I'll be rewarded my whole life.”
