Reilly and Dane DeHaan. The 2022 film Spin Me Round, was written and directed by Baena.
The interview with GQ in November 2022, explained her own relationship with Baena as a reference point, relating her character Harper of ‘The White Loutus' Plaza spoke about it.
She said “I don’t have kids,” but has always wanted them and even thought about starting a family during the COVID-19 pandemic “but was alarmed by the apocalyptic state of the world.” She added, “I’ve been with my husband for 12 years. I relate to being in a relationship that has peaks and valleys, and going through a rough patch and comparing yourself to another couple that seems perfect.” GQ wrote.

Who is Jeff Baena, Aurbey's Husband?
Baena is an American screenwriter and film director who was born in 1977 (45) and raised in Miami, where he was exposed to culture and cinema. He attended film school at New York University and moved to Los Angeles shortly after graduating to begin his career in entertainment. In L.A., Baena moved into an apartment and started applying for assistant roles. He worked for film directors Robert Zemeckis and David O. Russell before starting out his own career. He created numerous films and worked on various projects including Life After Beth (2014), Joshy (2016), The Little Hours (2017), Horse Girl (2020), Spin Me Round (2022), and co-writing I Heart Huckabees (2004). He is known for his frequent collaborations with actresses Alison Brie and Aubrey Plaza, who is also his wife.

While interviewing with GQ Plaza said “So proud of my darling husband @jeffbaena for dreaming up another film that takes us to Italia to cause some more trouble,” her caption read. A rep later confirmed to PEOPLE that the couple had tied the knot.
