After Andrew Tate and his brother Tristan were arrested, there was an immediate uptick in speculation about two unrelated people: Luana Radu and Georgiana Naghel. The Tates were detained in Romania on 29 December on charges of human trafficking, rape, and reportedly forming an organized crime unit related to their webcam studio.
Two women were recently arrested in connection with the Direction for the Investigation of Organized Crime and Terrorism (DIICOT) investigation in Romania, and they may have ties to the crimes allegedly committed by the brother duo. The pair has been labeled “Tate’s Angels,” and here’s all that is currently known about them.
Who is Luana Radu?
For a time, Radu served as a sub-inspector with the Romanian police force. She quit her job at a Bucharest police station to become a webcam performer. When she was taken into custody, she was working as an administrative assistant for Tate.
Tate has largely attributed Radu with running his massive web business. When posting to social media like Instagram and Twitter, Radu hides behind the alias Ellie Dely. Her chat rooms are lucrative since they draw men from all over the world.
Who is Georgiana Naghel?
Born in Romania but now an American citizen, Naghel is thought to have met Andrew Tate for the first time in 2017. It is believed that she is Andrew Tate's current girlfriend and that she is also an influencer.

During the search of the Tate property, both Naghel and Radu were taken into custody. A prosecutor told Reuters that the accused “appear to have built an organized crime gang with the intention of recruiting, housing & exploiting women by forcing them to make pornographic content intended for viewing on specialized websites.”

Why were Luana Radu & Georgiana Naghel detained?
Radu and Naghel were arrested along with brothers Andrew and Tristan Tate at a compound in Voluntari, Romania. On December 29, 2022, the four were apprehended in connection with a probe into human trafficking, rape, and organized crime.
Romanian law enforcement officials reported that six victims of sexual exploitation had come forward. In a statement to Reuters, prosecutors said, “The four accused… appear to have constituted an organized crime gang with the intention of recruiting, housing & exploiting women by forcing them to generate pornographic content intended for viewing on specialized websites for a cost.”
Authorities in Romania were tipped off by Tate's social media activity to his whereabouts, launching an operation against him and his companions. Tate had previously implied that one of the main reasons he relocated to an Eastern European country was to get away from the prying eyes of the authorities.
On Twitter on December 31, 2022, Tate proclaimed his innocence, writing, “God is on our side, thus the Matrix will not win.”
