What Happened in Casey Anthony’s Trial?
After discovering their daughter's automobile had been impounded due to a stink, Caylee Anthony's parents reported her missing on July 15. Anthony was arrested the day after Cindy lied to the police about where her daughter was. On December 11, 2008, 5 months after Caylee Anthony disappeared, her skeletal remains were found in a wooded area near the Anthonys' Orlando home.
CNN reported that a grand jury indicted Anthony on capital murder charges in October 2008 after finding human remains in her trunk. Anthony denies guilt. The trial began in May 2011.
