Season 2 Plot

Before anyone else goes missing, Tanjiro and a new friend with a personal connection to the mystery must figure out what's happening. Hashira's history is also explored more in this season.
Where We Left Off: Recap of Season 1 and Mugen Train
Demon Slayer season 2 will pick up after the fiery fight on the Mugen Train, which was the setting for the Demon Slayer movie. At the end of season 1, it was said that 40 passengers had vanished.
At the end of season 1, swordsmen Tanjiro Kamado, Zenitsu Agatsuma, and Inosuke Hashibira are sent to the train to look into the disappearances. This is after they have finished their rehabilitation training at the Butterfly Mansion.

Nezuko, Tanjiro's sister who became a demon, and Rengoku, the Flame Hashira Kyojuro, are always with the three of them. The Hashira are a group of Demon Slayer swordsmen who are among the best.
Without giving anything away, let's say that the Demon Slayers fight Enmu, a demon from the Twelve Kizuki who has been scaring people on the Mugen Train. The Twelve Kizuki is the most influential group of monsters that Muzan Kibutsuji, the first demon who can turn humans into demons, has put together.
Demon Slayer Season 2 Release Date
Instead of starting with the Entertainment District Arc, which had already been announced, the Mugen Train Arc was turned into a seven-episode arc that began on October 10.
This arc had 70 new scenes, new music tracks, previews of upcoming episodes, a new theme song, and an episode of Kyojuro Rengoku that had never been shown before.
The Mugen Train Arc connected the first season to the second season's Entertainment District Arc, based on the manga by Koyoharu Gotouge.
The first episode of the Entertainment District Arc came out on Sunday, December 5, and was an hour long. From there, Fuji TV, a Japanese TV station, will show The Arc every Sunday during winter. This will give fans half a year's worth of sword-slashing action.
The news was announced on September 25 at the end of Fuji TV's special airings of the first season, which ended with the first TV showing of the Demon Slayer movie Mugen Train. There was new footage that we who wish we could join the Demon Slayer Corps had never seen before.
