What’s The Fate of Little Voice Season 2

Sara Bareilles and Jessie Nelson produced a romantic comedy-drama television series for Apple TV+. On July 10, 2020, the series premiered. After one season, the show was canceled in August 2021. “The universal path of finding your genuine voice in your early 20s” is explored in Little Voice. It’s been characterized as a “new, passionately romantic story about the quest for one’s real voice and then the bravery to express it.”

What is Little Voice About?

Little Voice, a half-hour romantic dramedy from J.J. Abrams and the Waitress team Sara Bareilles and Jessie Nelson, has been picked up by Apple. The project, which will feature original songs by Grammy and Tony Award nominee Bareilles, who is co-hosting Sunday’s 72nd annual Tony Awards, has been awarded a straight-to-series 10-episode order by the forthcoming streaming platform.

Little Voice, from Warner Bros. TV and Abrams’ studio-based Bad Robot Prods, will have Nelson (I Am Sam, Stepmom) write and direct the first episode as well as act as showrunner. With Bad Robot’s J.J. Abrams and Ben Stephenson, Bareilles and Nelson serve as executive producers.

After preparing a pitch for another Abrams/Bad Robot series, the sci-fi drama Demimonde, Apple won Little Voice. The upcoming Stephen King-inspired drama Castle Rock for Hulu, as well as the drama Lovecraft Country and the current smash drama Westworld (developed for television by Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy and just renewed for a third season), are all on Bad Robot’s current slate.

On June 6, 2018, Apple announced that the project has received a straight-to-series order for a ten-episode first season. Jessie Nelson wrote and directed the pilot episode, and she would also serve as an executive producer alongside Sara Bareilles, J. J. Abrams, and Ben Stephenson. Cherien Dabis, Bart Freundlich, Christopher Storer, and Emma Westenberg are among the series’ directors, in addition to Nelson.

Nelson was also supposed to be the showrunner, and Bareilles was supposed to write original music for the program. Warner Bros. Television and Bad Robot Productions are among the production firms collaborating with the show. Apple terminated the service on August 4, 2021.

Brittany O’Grady, Shalini Bathina, Sean Teale, and Colton Ryan joined the cast of the series as primary cast members in October 2019. Simultaneously, Samrat Chakrabarti, Gopal Divan, Sakina Jaffrey, and Emma Hong were revealed as new cast members. The Fate of Little Voice Season 2

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Sara Bareilles’ songwriting drama Bess & Co has been cancelled by Apple TV+, which means there will be no Season 2. Little Voice is the first series to be canceled on Apple TV+.

Little Voice debuted on the streaming service in July 2020. It follows the narrative of Bess, a New York City-based aspiring composer (played by Star alum Brittany O’Grady). Despite the fact that Bareilles, along with Jessie Nelson, J.J. Abrams, and Ben Stephenson (Westworld), is an executive producer on the show, she told TVLine in 2020 that Little Voice is not based on her own experience getting into the music industry.
