What Happened to Nick and Danielle After “Love Is Blind?” Check Here!

Contestants Nick Thompson and Danielle Ruhl stood out for their low-key relationship and sweet connection during the first episodes of season 2 of Love Is Blind—the love triangle involving Shaina, Shayne, and Natalie; the other love triangle involving Jarrette, Mallory, and Iyanna—amid the drama of the first episodes of season 2.

In the first episode, the two soon became friends since they had similar childhoods and shared fears.

At the end of the first episode, they became engaged, becoming the show's first pair to meet in real life.

During a confessional, Danielle declared, “I'm ready to get married to him the next day.” “This is something I am not going to allow anything stands in the way of.

Still, Danielle and Nick had to traverse some challenging relationship territory in the weeks leading up to their wedding day, which took place after the pods.

Danielle was unhappy when Nick returned from a couples' mixer a few days after their engagement during their trip to Mexico.

Danielle said that she had been disturbed by the circumstances, which Nick understood. When Nick inquired as to whether or not Danielle trusted him, Danielle responded, “I don't trust anything right now.”

The last episode, in which we discover who says “yes” at the altar and who doesn't, premiered on February 25, 2022, and is currently streaming on Netflix. Warning: there will be spoilers.

So, Did Danielle and Nick Finally Tie the Knot?

They did it, no doubt about it! Immediately following Danielle's “I do” moment after the ninth episode, the finale starts with an apprehensive Nick and Danielle standing at the altar.

Nick informs her—as well as the rest of the world— “Yes, I do. I have absolutely no doubt that you are the person I intend to be with at this time.

I'm grateful that I came upon you, and I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you making the world a better place.”

When Danielle expresses gratitude, the couple is officially pronounced husband and wife, leaving the ceremony to stroll out into the sunset together (well, some magnetic fields).

“I'm a married guy!” says the author. Nick confesses after the wedding in a post-wedding diary.

“I'm overjoyed. I'm giddy with excitement. Although it was a last-minute choice since I wasn't 100 percent certain that she was 100 percent certain—but everything turned out exactly the way it was intended to— We have an entire life of 50-something years ahead of us, and I can't wait to spend it with him.”

On the other hand, Danielle writes in her own post-wedding confessional: “We care about one another in ways that we could never convey to anybody else…

I'm relieved that we arrived at the same conclusion.” She says, “I'm a mother and a wife. I'm married to a wonderful man… Love is deafeningly blind!”

Is It Still the Case That They Are Together?

Yes! Danielle and Nick affirmed that they are still together and that they are still happily married during the Love Is Blind reunion concert.

The couple is enthused over their “blissful” relationship now that Danielle has moved into Nick's house, which they are actively working to maintain through regular couples' therapy sessions.

Danielle said in an interview with Us Weekly that she and her boyfriend “fell in love so soon, and because we both knew at the end of the day that we wanted to be together, we felt rushed to find out what was the best road for us to go.

The result was a pressure cooker setting in which we felt like, ‘Oh, my God, like, what are we going to do?' It was terrifying.

Ultimately, we both decided that it was us and that we would spend the rest of our lives together. “I can't wait for others to witness the kind of friendship that we've developed between us.”

As she added, “The Rock Band set has arrived, and the outfits have arrived.” He is the one that dresses up in the costumes more often than I am.

We were able to sort everything out. “Compromise, compromise,” says the author.
