I am sure you must have heard the stories about how a place has been cursed, and there are unnatural or paranoid things happening. Have you? If I talk about myself, I have heard about such stories a thousand times. Here I will talk about a movie with something similar known as “Fear Street Part”, but additionally, you will get the information about Fear Street Part 3, too. What a Treat right?
There are 3 short movies directed by Leigh Janiak: Part One: 1994 and Part Two: 1978, and Part 3: 1666.
The movies were released on a weekly basis. Unfortunately, the ratings are too good to be true around 6-7 IMDb stars for every movie, which for the horror genre is exceptional.
If we talk about the sub-genre, it’s a teen slasher movie. The movies have interconnected timelines Part one 1994, Part two 1978, and final Part three 1666.
Let’s start from the future and go back to the past, the same way movies have done it.

1994, Clash between Sunnyside and Shadyside
1994, a bookstore owner was murdered by her friend with no intention. Such incidents were very common in the Shadyside. In fact, the place was said to be cursed. This thing of someone killing the other has been going on for the past 300 years. Many believe that this is the curse of Sarah Fier, the witch who was murdered in 1666 during the witch trials. Denna doesn’t believe in all this and has recently broken up with her girlfriend, Sam, who moved to Sunnyvale.
What happens next is worth watching…

1978, Berman’s past and Sarah’s hand
1978, Ziggy Berman is bullied by Sheila, tied, and was tried to burn. But she was saved by Goode and Kurt. While her sister Cindy and her boyfriend, Tommy, were cleaning the mess, Nurse Mary attacked Tommy. People believe she was possessed, as was her daughter. They meet Alice and Arnie.
While investigating, they find Lane’s diary, where we see that Sarah Fier made a deal with Satan granting her eternal life. They also find a map of Sarah’s house. When they go there, they find graves dug up by Mary and a witch’s mark with the victims’ and killers’ names written on it.
Tommy’s name was also itched on it. Tommy became possessed and started killing everyone.

Fear Street Part 3: 1666 – The dreadful past
This is the original settlement before Sunnyside and Shadyside. One night Sarah, Lizzie, and Hannah are there to get some potent berries. Instead, Sarah stumbles upon a black magic book. Pastor Miller has murdered several children at night, and even Sarah just missed by a few inches by his attack. That night a meeting takes place between townsfolk where witches are held responsible for all the wrongdoings.
The two try to leave, but Hannah is apprehended. Sarah tries to bargain with the devil to spare Hannah's life, but the book appears to be missing. Sarah flees to Solomon’s house where she finds the book; Solomon confesses that he was the one responsible for Pastor doing the killings to amass a huge fortune and wealth.
He offers Sarah a partnership, but Sarah rejected it. He catches her, and Sarah’s hand gets cut off in the fight. Sarah is also captured; she asked others to leave Hannah, but no one listens to her, and both were executed.
But at the last moments, Sarah decided to get vengeance on Solomon. This is when they realize Goode’s family is responsible for all this curse; they are the ones carrying out the rituals. They have to kill Nick to break the curse. They do that.
In the mid-credits scene, we see that someone is taking that book away.

Wrapping Up
I found the parts very interesting and something with a new story. The movie is one of those that stand out from the crowd because of how it’s excellently written, and hats off to the director for careful planning this movie. what are your thoughts on this?
