Adam Levine is speaking out about Blake Shelton's exit from The Voice. Fellow former judge on the show, Adam Levine, however was not sad about it. “It’s about time,” Levine joked to Entertainment Tonight at the Vanity Fair Oscars After-Party.

What Blake Shelton Said After Leaving The Show ‘The Voice'?

Blake posted on one of his social media account, where he captioned,” I've been wrestling with this for a while and I've decided that it's time for me to step away from The Voice after season 23. This show has changed my life in every way for the better and it will always feel like home to me.” He was thanking the whole team of the show and captioned, ” It's been a hell of a ride over these 12 years of chair turns and I want to thank everyone at The Voice from NBC, every producer, the writers, musicians, crew and catering people, you are the best.”

Blake also mentioned a few names as indicating his lifelong relations, “I've made lifelong bonds with Carson  and every single one my fellow coaches over the years, including my wife, Gwen Stefani! I have to give a huge shout out to the singers – the ‘Voices' who come on this stage season after season and amaze us with their talent and a special thanks to those who chose me to be their coach.”

He wrapped up and wrote, ”Lastly, it's about y'all, the fans, who watch and support these artists, us coaches and everyone at The Voice chasing their dreams. It wouldn't happen without you!”

Alongside Adam Levine, CeeLo Green, and Christina Aguilera, Blake began coaching in the first season of The Voice. The program has featured a rotating cast of celebrities in the red chairs since Levine and Shelton quit coaching together in season 16, including Shakira, Nick Jonas, and Gwen Stefani, whom Shelton met on the show and who is his current wife. Kelly Clarkson is back as a coach in the most recent season, along with Chance the Rapper and Niall Horan, who are both debuting as coaches on the show.
