Who is Yasmine?

Yasmine Amunet is one of the most important people helping the Order of Cruciform Sword, or what's left of them, fight Adriel. Yasmine tells Mother Superion and Camilla that she is working on her Ph.D. in Archaeology at La Sapienza when she meets them for the first time.

She says that she paid more attention to the Crusades, but Camila cuts her off and asks her what the real reason is for contacting them. Yasmine says she can only tell the Warrior Nun, but she does later say that her family has sworn to protect the world from Adriel's return for a thousand years.

She says that she is from a side operation of the OCS that was started by Cora, the person who took over for Areala. She also tells Mother Superion and Camila that they know how to kill Adriel, but she has sworn to only tell the current Warrior Nun how to do it.

Yasmine would later help Ava figure out what Adriel's weakness was, and she would eventually become an OCS sister herself.

What's Adriel’s Plan?

Adriel starts out by using ARQ-Tech to make plagues, while the loyal Kristian helps his true lord with the technology and resources that Julian gave him. They make locust plagues and then let Wraith Demons take over sick people who are becoming more and more convinced (with the humans obviously being unaware of their diabolical enslavement).

Once Adriel has a large enough group of faithful people who follow him and believe in him, he starts taking the power from their prayers for his own purposes. Adriel tells his followers to steal the arc from Jilian in order to open the portal and keep it open long enough for an army of wraith demons to walk through and spread out across the world.

Warrior Nun Season 2 Ending Explained

At the end of season 2 of Warrior Nun, Adriel opens the portal and pulls Reya down into the world. He plans to lock her in the underground bunker for all time so that he has no rivals when he becomes king.

Later in the season, it comes out that Adriel had tried to gain power and rule the other realm, but he failed and was defeated. After that, he stole the halo from Reya, a powerful enemy who was also his former master.

He tried to rule the other realm but failed, so he tried to rule Earth. He was put in jail, and a thousand years later, a Warrior Nun beat him again.

Who is Reya?

Reya is a very strong being from the other world, which many of the show's characters call Heaven. She used to be Adriel's master before he rebelled and was defeated and kicked out of the kingdom. Michael was taken to Reya by two angels when he was a child and went through the portal.

She took him in and put him in his castle in the shining city. Michael told her mother that Reya was very strong and that she was the same person she saw in the video she got from Lilith. Later, Reya would tell Ava what to do to get rid of Adriel.

The second wanted to get rid of her, so he locked her up in the mortal realm for all time while he ruled the other realms alone. Reya also tells Michael how to kill Adriel and tells him that it's the only way to do it and that it's his fate to do it that way.

This meant that Michael and Ava would have to go on a suicide mission in which Ava would have to set off the Divinium bomb that Reya had turned Michael into. Ava wouldn't do that, but when Michael's dead body was near Adriel in the final battle, she used her ultimate attack on him by blasting Michael's body.

How the Warrior Nun Season 2 Finale Sets Up Season 3

So, now that we've unpacked the Season 2 conclusion of Warrior Nun, how does it set up Season 3? Although Adriel no longer appears to be a threat, Lilith warns Beatrice that “a holy battle” is on the way. It's unclear what she means by this, although she certainly appears hesitant to battle her sisters.

With Adriel gone, it's difficult to predict who will command the opposition throughout this fight. Will his followers, still affected by his teachings, rise up against the Order of the Cruciform Sword? It's conceivable.

However, if Netflix renews Warrior Nun for more episodes, a new threat may emerge. Now that Adriel is gone, Reya may become a more malignant force. With Ava on her way to another realm and still in control of the Halo, her fate is also uncertain.

That leaves questions that can only be answered by another season. Although her plot could finish here, it appears likely that she will return to her sisters in the future. And we'd want more closure. We'll keep an eye out for Warrior Nun Season 3 updates!
