Bertinelli, 62, posted a video on Twitter on Tuesday night from an airport terminal, where she claimed to be waiting to board a flight to see her son, Wolfgang Van Halen.
Bertinelli, visibly ecstatic, said on the video, “I'm at the airport, I'm going to go see Wolfie, and my lawyer just called.” “Each and every document required a signature was duly obtained. It's almost time to submit them.”
“On 11/22/22, I am officially f***ing divorced! Happily divorced,” “she continued with a smile on her face. “Thank God! The ordeal has ended.”
Bertinelli captioned the video, “11.22.22 second best day of my life,” and included the text “Happily divorced.”

After dating for several years, the actress eventually tied the knot with her financial planner boyfriend Vitale in January 2011. The documents indicate that a prenuptial agreement is appropriate because the couple does not share any children.

How Did Tom and Valerie First Meet?
As many of her fans know, Valerie was previously married to rock musician Eddie Van Halen, whom she wed in 1981. Their son Wolfgang was born on March 16, 1991, but they eventually divorced.
After 20 years of marriage, the pair decided to split up in 2001 and finalized the divorce six years later in 2007. On October 6, 2020, Eddie passed away from cancer.
Valerie and Tom met in 2004 thanks to Valerie's brother, Patrick Bertinelli. They hit it off immediately and went on to be together for the next six years. By the year 2010, Tom had made up his mind to pop the question to Valerie. In an earlier interview with the AARP, Valerie had previously broached the topic.
