Goicoechea was born and reared in Miami. After high school, she enrolled at Full Sail University in Winter Park to pursue the recording arts. Barbara, her mother, served as ACT Productions' director of operations beginning in 1988.
Goicoechea shadowed her mother at the event and multimedia production company, eventually acting as Ciara's secretary.
She moved to California and established her management firm, Boogs'N'Effect Management. She went on to become Epic Records' senior vice president of A&R. Goicoechea was selected for Billboard's R&B/Hip-Hop Power Players lists in 2020 and 2021.
How did Goicoechea and Usher meet?
She likely met Usher through her job and business social group. She appears to have been a fan and friend for a time, because in 2016, she tweeted a picture of herself whispering in his ear, writing in the caption, “Not sure what I'm saying or who I'm speaking to.” But my nails look nice.”
She also shared an older photo of him from 2018. In October 2019, a few months after Keith Thomas' party, they were seen kissing backstage at the Hollywood Bowl.

Do Usher and Goicoechea have any kids?
Usher revealed that he and his partner were expecting during an interview on Good Morning America in 2020. During the interview, he also revealed his upcoming Las Vegas residency plans.
“Babies always bring such joy to a family, and [I'm] excited for my young one—well, my bean's arrival,” he told reporters.
A few weeks later, on September 24, they had their daughter, Sovereign Bo.
