Ultrawings is a charming combination of flight sim mechanics and an inviting world full of aerial mini-games in a single package. The game has received positive feedback over the years, and it is now available on all major virtual reality platforms.
In a new announcement, developer Bit Planet Games has stated that Ultrawings 2, the sequel to Ultrawings, will be released on February 3rd on PC VR and Quest, as well as an unspecified “other platform(s)” in the future (considering the original is also available on PSVR and even Nintendo Switch, those are a good bet).
What Is The Release Date Of Ultrawings 2 Quest 2?
It has been confirmed by a new trailer that the flight game spin-off will launch on the standalone headset on February 3, as seen below. Additionally, a wishlist page has been made available on the Oculus Store.
To be more specific, this is only for the standalone edition of the game; Ultrawings 2 will also be released on PC, but a specific release date for that version has not yet been announced.
When it comes to gameplay, the Ultrawings games strike a perfect balance between simulation and arcade elements. Although they do not take a completely realistic approach, such as a Microsoft Flight Simulator, you will still need to become familiar with a cockpit, master tricky landings, and master the controls in order to succeed in the game.

We've already spent a significant amount of time with the game and are pleased with how it's progressing. The virtual flight stick can be used to control the game well, and there are several islands to explore in between the main islands.
As you progress through the game, you will discover new aircraft to master, each with its own set of difficulties. Apart from that, Bit Planet is introducing new combat tasks to the game, allowing for the first time in the series' history, dogfights to take place.
When combined with the standard stunt and race tasks, as well as other objective types, the developer promises that the game will keep you occupied for quite some time.
In other regions, the game may be released on the PlayStation VR platform; however, no official version of the game for that platform has been announced at this time.
We will keep you informed of any new information as it becomes available. In the meantime, please stay tuned.
