New: Four New Fighters Have Been Added to the Ufc 4 Roster

Fans are still waiting to hear more about UFC 5, but there's still a lot going on in UFC 4. The latest roster update added four exciting new fighters, some of whom we might see again in UFC 5.

  • Striking: 3.5 Stars
  • Health: 4 Stars

Ufc 5 Release Date

We still haven't heard anything official about when UFC 5 will come out. But based on past launches and reports of leaks, our best guess is that it will happen in late 2022 or early 2023.

Ufc 5 Release Date

Based on what EA Sports UFC has done in the past, new UFC games come out every two years. If this schedule stays the same, we should expect the game to come out by the end of 2022.

Check out the dates of the previous UFC movies below:

  • EA Sports UFC: Released 17 June 2014
  • EA Sports UFC 2: Released 15 March 2016
  • EA Sports UFC 3: Released 2 February 2018
  • EA Sports UFC 4: Released 14 August 2020

Will Xbox Series X/s and Pc Get Ufc 5?

When you look at how the EA UFC franchise has been launched in the past, cross-platform releases have been the norm. This means that this game should work on the Xbox Series X/S and PC when it comes out in Q3/Q4 2023.

But EA Canada hasn't said anything about when UFC 5 will be available. There is a chance that this MMA simulator will only be available on Xbox or PlayStation for a certain amount of time.

We don't think that UFC 5 will come out with a timed exclusivity deal. Instead, we think this game will come out on all platforms for the next generation. This includes the PC, the Steam Deck, the PS5, and the Xbox Series X/S.

Is Ufc 5 Part of Xbox Game Pass?

UFC 4 was put on the Xbox Game Pass by Electronic Arts. So, it makes sense that the fifth game in this series would come out on the Xbox Game Pass.

Ufc 5 Release Date

But this game shouldn't be free to download until after it's been made available for sale. For this game to be playable on day one, only serious players will have to buy it.

When Will Ufc 5 Be Available to Pre-Order?

You can't pre-order UFC 5 yet, but that could change once the UFC 5 Cover Athlete is revealed. Most of the time, the game itself and the athlete on the cover are shown off at the same time that the title is made available for pre-order on different platforms.

So, the cover reveal and pre-orders for UFC 5 will probably happen in September or October of 2022. UFC 4 cost £59.99/$59.99, so we can expect UFC 5 to cost about the same.

What to Expect From Ufc 5

After the official release of UFC 4 in August, EA Sports is still putting a lot of work into it. They do this by regularly adding patches to the game. EA said before that UFC 4 and NHL 21 will run the same on the Xbox One X and PlayStation 4 Pro and will not get any next-gen upgrades.

So, when UFC 5 does come out, it should be a fully realized version of the popular MMA game for the next generation. Don't worry, players of older consoles: EA is also likely to put UFC 5 on the PS4 and Xbox One.

Game Trailer

As we've said throughout our look at UFC 5, EA Vancouver hasn't shown any gameplay footage of their upcoming simulator. Because of this, EarlyGame can't give you a trailer for the announcement. When Electronic Arts released an official trailer, we'll let you know.

We hope you've liked our first look at UFC 5 until then. You can expect to hear more about this game as it gets closer. Please come back often, and thank you for reading. Here's a sneak peek at UFC 4.
