Trolley Season 1 Episode 14 Recap
Hye-Joo was hit with a barrage of shocking information from Soo-Bin, including the fact that she and Ji-Hoon had seen Yeo-Jin and Joong-Do arguing earlier on the same day Ji-Hoon would die.
She explains that Ji-Hoon went to confront Joong-Do about his ongoing romance with Yeo-Jin, which Ji-Hoon had witnessed when he was in middle school. She goes on to suggest that Joong-Do, being the last person to see Ji-Hoon alive, may have been responsible for his murder.
Hye-Joo confronts Joong-Do and Yeo-Jin at their house, and Yeo-Jin admits that she and Joong-Do have an affair despite Joong-Do's efforts to stop her from speaking and refute Hye-Joo's accusations.
After that, he tells Woo-Jae what happened and asks if he killed Ji-Hoon as Woo-Jae was the one who found Ji-Hoon in his final moments. Then, Woo-Jae admits that they met and that he saw him selling narcotics & told him to dispose of them & worry about his mother.
Ji-Hoon disposed of the pills but then went back for them by swimming across the river. He never came back, and at first, Woo-Jae thought he had gone elsewhere. Woo-Jae gives the lawmaker not just his word for it, but also dashcam film to back it up.
Seung-Hee, meantime, runs into Hye-Joo and immediately suspects her of having an affair with Ki-Young, not giving any credence to what Hye-Joo says. In the first half of episode 14 of Trolley, she not only conducts an interview with a reporter but also arranges one for her mother.
Yeo-Jin has two days after Hye-Joo's ultimatum to pack up and leave her residence. Her TV appearance has nothing to do with the conflict between her and Joong-Do, so she refuses to do it and publicly shames him for suggesting it.
Hye-Joo initially declines to make the TV appearance, but Yoon-Seo's phone call, in which she vents about the harassment and threats she received as a result of the story, changes her mind. After being molested as a child, she sits next to Joong-Do on live TV and discusses the incident with him at the end of episode 14 of Trolley.
A surprising surprise is revealed just before the end credits roll: Yeo-Jin was raped by Joong-Do on the day Ji-Hoon thought they were having consensual sex. We also learn that Woo-Jae was aware of this.
Trolley Season 1 Episode 14 Review
Personally, I find it annoying that Trolley constantly recycles the same scenes in different environments. Most of the time, we receive a few tidbits here and there, but they're boring and don't move the plot along.
In spite of this, the final twist transforms Joong-do into a villainous villain straight out of a Disney movie. Curiously though, the possibility of such a person existing is not completely farfetched.
When I think of someone who has completely changed their tune, it is Ji-hoon. The show made him out to be a terrible person, yet I can really relate to him. It's safe to say that he's had a rough go of it in life.

I don't get what she's trying to accomplish, and I don't see why Hye-Joo should continue to wither like a flower every time she repeats the same two sentences to her. It simply seems so strange to me. Episode 14 of Trolley is passable but ultimately forgettable in my opinion.
