The finest Amazon Prime Video shows truly have something for everyone. For starters, everyone's favorite brazen violence and sex extravaganza, The Boys, returns for season 3 this month, making now the ideal time to binge-watch.
Other than that, you can mount up for the new Western Outer Range or, while we wait for the Lord of the Rings TV show, you can get your epic fantasy dose with The Wheel of Time. You can also watch Oscar winner Barry Jenkins' historical drama The Underground Railroad or aircraft disaster thriller The Wilds, while on the animated side, there's Critical Role-inspired series The Legend of Vox Machina and superhero comedy Invincible.

#1. Vikings
Vikings, a rough-and-tumble period tale fairly dissimilar to Game of Thrones, dishes up a similar amount of blood-drenched bloodshed but none of the wild nookie. Travis Fimmel stars as Ragnar Lothbrok, a humble farmer who rises to become a respected warrior in Norse mythology. That, of course, comes after years of sailing the European seas with his wife and friends in search of defenseless countries to pillage.
The story is fantastic, and along with the stunning production design, you'll be lured in and unable to stop watching one more episode. It's less focused on the complicated political relationships of the aforementioned HBO series, but it leans strongly on the fantasy side. These are not the Vikings you've learned about in school; they're far more cunning.
#2. Outer Range
Josh Brolin stars in this enigmatic Western about the Abbott family. Their daughter-in-law Rebecca goes missing, and to make matters worse, a rival family is attempting to take over their farm. In addition, there's a curious black hole, an unexpected death, and mounting tensions to deal with.

#5. Invincible
Robert Kirkman, the co-creator of The Walking Dead, adapted Robert Kirkman's comic book series of the same name into a superhero comedy called Invincible. Mark Grayson (voiced by Steven Yeun) is the son of the most powerful superhero on Earth, Omni-Man (AKA Nolan Grayson), the subject of the adult cartoon series (J.K. Simmons). Following their 17th birthday of Mark, his father helps him learn how to handle his own powers. Sandra Oh, Mark Hamill, and Seth Rogen are also part of the cast. This is not a family-friendly show, despite the illustrated Saturday morning cartoon style. The first few episodes alone contain more than a dozen of turns. Any lover of The Boys will enjoy this film.
#6. The Wilds
An island where odd things are happening to a group of individuals after they crash land. Not Lost, but The Wilds, a show that takes a similar premise and goes in a very different direction. When their plane crashes, stranding them on an unknown island, a group of adolescent girls on their way to Hawaii for women in power retreat. Even if they don't know, this is all part of an even greater plot.
Unlike Lost, which withheld information from the public, The Wilds is more forthcoming, and as a result, we're more intrigued by how the inhabitants on the isolated island fare. This is a must-read for YA fans.
#7. Truth Seekers
Be prepared with your night vision goggles — For the eerie comedy Truth Seekers, Simon Pegg and Nick Frost reunite. They travel throughout the UK in quest of proof of the paranormal in the eight-episode series, which follows a team of part-time paranormal investigators. When they discover a scheme that might lead to Armageddon for the entire human race, it's all fun and games with their improvised gadgets and comical escapades. Yikes.
#8. Tales from the Loop
“The Loop,” a machine developed to unlock and investigate the mysteries of the universe, is located in a little hamlet in Ohio. One person's life is examined in detail in each episode of The Loop, which allows the impossible to happen.
Inspired by Simon Stalenhag's famous paintings, this sci-fi anthology focuses on the lives of those who dwell above the Loop. Because of his representations of fantastical parallel realms, Stalehnhag has garnered a devoted fanbase, and this novel complements his work perfectly. The cast, which includes Rebecca Hall, Jonathan Pryce, and Paul Schneider, is excellent in this film.
#9. The Expanse
Grindhouse science fiction with a savage edge. All excellent science fiction is like this, right? The Expanse is unlike any other show in the science fiction genre. It depicts a future in which humanity has conquered the cosmos, extending its reach into every corner of the universe. As a result, Mars is at conflict with Earth's military might. In the show's main story, a ship's captain (Steven Strait) and investigator (Thomas Jane) work together to investigate a missing young woman's case, their squabbles build the groundwork for an impending war that serves as a tense backdrop.
As lifelike as you can get, the setting is created. You won't find any strange portals to other worlds, crazed extraterrestrials, or weapons that defy the laws of physics here. What's left is a fantastic story that will get a fourth and final season on Amazon, thanks to their decision to renew it.
#10. Jack Ryan
With enough grit to make you forget that John Krasinski was once Jim from The Office, John Krasinski portrays the current incarnation of Jack Ryan. A major success in season 1, Wendell Pierce (from The Wire) and Noomi Rapace (from Prometheus) joined the cast, while Michael Kelly (from House of Cards) joined in season 2. This is a thrilling, action-packed, and multi-cultural production that you should not miss.
