Thunderbolts now have an official release date, and as the last movie in Phase 5 of the MCU, it has a big role. The news was shared at Marvel's big Comic-Con panel, and it comes after the movie's director, Jake Schreier, was named in June 2022. Eric Pearson, who played Black Widow, is writing the script.
Thunderbolts is Marvel's version of The Suicide Squad. Like The Suicide Squad, the team is made up of bad guys sent on missions by the government.

When Will Thunderbolts Come Out?
Marvel has confirmed that Thunderbolts will be the last movie in Phase 5, coming out on July 26, 2024.

In June 2022, Deadline said that Marvel had talked to well-known MCU stars to make sure they were free in the summer of 2023 to film the movie. This hasn't been confirmed yet, so for now, just keep an eye on this space.
Thunderbolts Cast: Who’s in It?
At the time of writing, it wasn't clear who would be in the Thunderbolts. But based on the MCU characters we already know, we can expect to see Daniel Bruhl as Baron Zemo, Julia Louis-Dreyfus as Valentina Allegra de Fontaine, and Florence Pugh as Yelena Belova.
Hannah John-Kamen as Ghost, Olga Kurylenko as Taskmaster, Tim Roth as Abomination, Wyatt Russell as US Agent, and Sebastian Stan as Winter Soldier (Sebastian Stan). The script was written by Eric Pearson, who also wrote Black Widow. Jake Schreier, who directed Paper Towns, has been chosen to direct it.
What Happens in Thunderbolts?
Given how long the Thunderbolts have been around and how little we know about the movie, there are no confirmed plot details about Thunderbolts as of this writing.
But, looking back, seeds have been planted. At the end of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Wyatt Russell's character John Walker messed up when he tried to be Captain America. Valentina then hired him as US Agent.

In the scene after the credits of Black Widow, Valentina told Yelena to kill Clint Barton. In Avengers: Infinity War, Valentina blamed Natasha's death on Yelena for Natasha's death.
It looks like the MCU is going to have a team like the Dark Avengers, led by the shadiest parts of the government. In the movie Suicide Squad, Amanda Waller said, “I want to put together a group of very bad people who I think can do some good.”

Is There a Trailer for Thunderbolts? If So, Where Can I Watch It?
