Drama on Amazon Prime Video The Wilds premiered just before Christmas last year, capturing viewers' attention with its excellent production of “part survival drama, part dystopic slumber party.”
The series will return for a much-anticipated second episode following numerous twists and a season finale cliffhanger — and there will be a slew of new characters joining the ensemble for season two.
The exhibit follows a group of teenage ladies stuck on an island after an airplane catastrophe, with the action cutting back and forth between flashbacks to their school days and their current situation on the island. What's the catch? The women were not trapped due to a mishap.
The first chapter of the Amazon Original was previously available for non-subscribers to watch for free, so fingers crossed, the streamer mimics the nice appearance for season two. Here's all you need to know about season 2 of The Wilds.
The Plot of Season 2 of the Wilds
We knew right once that the women weren't stranded by chance and that a dark crew of grownups was watching their every move in a surveillance area.
The team has been dubbed the ‘Dawn of Eve' girls since they unintentionally participated in a social venture. However, the massive twist at the season's end revealed that there is another test underway.
Flash forward to the female being questioned by alleged FBI agents after their rescue,' and Leah (who had been right all along about her misgivings) begins to sneak out of the cellphone she's being confined in.
In the final minutes, we see a direction display with a group of abandoned young lads, while a file reveals the test is called ‘The Twilight of Adam.'
Rachel was also violently attacked by a cheat in episode ten. We realize, though, that she will live to tell the tale (albeit she will be missing a hand, as we've seen in flashbacks).
The conclusion of Season 1 of “The Wilds” features some significant revelations, setting up the primary season plotlines two.
While the Twilight of Adam is one of the more significant surprises, the expose Nora has viewed about the application and what's going on the entire time is a close second.
She's keeping the truth hidden from everyone, even Rachel, her fraternal twin sister. Every other woman on the island called Leah discovers the truth about Nora in the Season 1 finale and tries to confront her.
Nora guides Leah to an open hole to get her out of the way, leaving her to climb out or be released by the Dawn of Eden staff.
Following the group's purported rescue, they are interrogated by humans subsequently revealed to be Dawn of Eden team members, implying that Gretchen's test is far from complete.
Leah even tries to flee the new institution at the end of the season, although it's unclear whether she succeeds. Meanwhile, two central characters — Nora and Martha — are missing from the flash-forwards, and their future fame is unknown.

There are hints here and there that one or both of them had met a tragic end, with Rachel mentioning her sister in the previous stress and the Dawn of Eve team rummaging through Martha's belongings. Hopefully, fans of “The Wilds” won't have to wait long to get some answers.
The Release Date for Season 2 of the Wilds Has Been Set!
It will be a while before we see Season 2 of The Wilds on Amazon Prime Video. After all, the show is still being filmed in Australia. It won't be ready until all of the episodes have been shot.
The series will not be released until all the chapters have been completed in post-production. Following that, the series will wish to move on to post-production.
It could take a few months, but we don't expect it to take as long as the similarities between The Boys and Upload. After all, this is a show that starts as a binge-watch.

We're hoping for a 2022 arrival date for the display. Amazon is in the midst of a season transition. COVID-19, on the other hand, is to blame. Filming had to be postponed due to the pandemic.
