What Is The Settlers About?
Developed by Ubisoft Düsseldorf and distributed by Ubisoft, The Settlers is a real-time strategy city-building game in the works. It is a relaunch of The Settlers of Catan series.
The game was originally scheduled to be launched for Windows in March 2022, but it has been delayed as a result of feedback gathered during the Closed Beta.
The Settlers Has Been Delayed Indefinitely
The Settlers, a video game developed by Ubisoft, has been postponed indefinitely, barely two weeks before its scheduled release.
After years of development, the eighth installment in the real-time strategy series, and the first since 2010, was set to be launched on March 17th. Ubisoft, on the other hand, revealed today on its official Twitter page (see below) that the relaunch had been postponed.
Ubisoft Düsseldorf, the company responsible for The Settlers of Catan, stated that the decision was made in reaction to comments received during the game's closed beta in January.

“As we went through this feedback, it became clear to our team that the quality wasn’t yet in line with the team’s vision,” the coders write. “Therefore, we took the decision to postpone the launch of the game to a later date.”
It will be utilized to further improve the game and promote quality as our top priority for all of our gamers, according to the company.
Although The Settlers was first launched in August 2018, the game quickly went dark, only to resurface once or again in the following three and a half years before disappearing entirely.
A story-driven campaign, single and multiplayer modes for up to eight players, as well as three playable factions are all included in the Snowdrop Engine-developed game, which hopes to revitalize the almost three-decade-old genre.
