All the information you require regarding The Rig can be found here…

The Rig Release Date: When Will It Air?

Only recently has Prime Video announced that the show will indeed arrive. The anticipated launching date for The Rig is the fall of 2022.

At the Edinburgh TV Festival 2022, Prime Video's Daisy Mount claimed that the series' lengthy production period was due to the show's extensive special effects.

To paraphrase, “we are looking for things that are extremely entertaining first, we are looking for shows that are bold and original and feel very specific to Prime Video,” which you would only discover on a streamer like theirs.

The writer, David Macpherson, “truly delivers on it,” and he has succeeded in his goal of creating a drama that does not skimp on character development or emotional depth.

The Rig Plot: What Will Happen?

The dark thriller has a backstory that is somewhat familiar to us at this point. The Kilnoch Bravo oil rig is the primary setting for ‘The Rig,' which takes place in the North Sea and is about to make its way back to land.

Nevertheless, a fog rolls in, and as a result, all forms of communication with the rest of the world are severed. Because they are unable to leave the rig, the crew must accept their situation and make it through the prolonged amount of time during which they are cut off from the rest of the world.

It's not just being in each other's company that wears on people's patience on the rig; they also have to come to terms with forces that are outside of their control and that are beyond anything they could have imagined.
