On Friday, December 16, 2022, The Recruit will come out. The series is only on Netflix and has eight episodes that are each an hour long. All of them should be available from the start.
Doug Liman is in charge of episodes 1 and 2, while Alex Kalymnios is in charge of episodes 3 and 4, Emmanuel Osei-Kuffour Jr. is in charge of episodes 5 and 6, and Julian Holmes is in charge of episodes 7-8.
The Recruit: Plot
According to the official trailer released by Netflix, the story follows Owen Hendricks, who joins the CIA as a lawyer expecting a routine first day, but his first week is anything but routine.
Owen Hendricks is assigned to the case after the CIA receives a letter from a former asset, Max Meladze, threatening to reveal the agency's secrets unless she is exonerated of a serious crime.
Despite his lack of experience in these operations and unfavorable circumstances, Owen embarks on a journey in the hopes of completing the mission and making a mark on the CIA.

While the premise appears to be pretty enjoyable and normal, the trailer for the series suggests otherwise. The trailer creates suspense while keeping brilliant storytelling and amusing asides. Even if excitement for the series was already strong, it only heightened after seeing such a well-crafted trailer.
