Everything has been destroyed, but the internet never forgets. The Last of Us Part I, a remake of the original Naughty Dog adventure game “crafted from the ground up” for PlayStation 5 and released on September 2, was recently (and mistakenly) updated on PlayStation Direct. It will also be released for PC at a later date.
Here is What Naughty Dog has to say about the remake:
We've upgraded the gameplay, refined the controls, and expanded the accessibility choices in this single-player experience to allow even more people to enjoy the game. Effects, exploration, and fighting have all been improved. We also used the PS5's strong technology to build 3D Audio, haptics, and adaptive triggers. Both returning fans and new players will be able to enjoy The Last of Us Part I and its prequel story Left Behind in an entirely new way.

Overview of the Game
The Last of Us was launched on the PlayStation 3 system almost a decade ago, and it left an unforgettable mark on our studio. Joel and Ellie's narrative continues to be extremely emotive with players all over the world, and we're grateful that these characters have left an imprint.
We're delighted to announce this entire remake of The Last of Us, arriving September 2, 2022, for the PlayStation 5 platform and in development for PC, thanks to advancements in technology and hardware that allow us to push the frontiers of visual fidelity and interactivity.
