This is a movie with a beautiful storyline, you will love to watch. The story revolves around A mother and her daughter’s parallel love experiences. Parts of the mother's narrative are presented in flashbacks.
The action of the film begins in the current day. The daughter, Ji-Hye (Son Ye-jin), is cleaning things around her house when she stumbles upon a box full of old letters and a journal detailing her mother's tale, Joo-hee (who is also played by Son Ye-jin). Ji-Hye reads one of these letters from time to time throughout the film, triggering a flashback scene in which the mother's tale is revealed.
These flashbacks are interlaced with Ji-own Hye's tale, in which she falls for Sang-min (Jo In-sung), a fellow student active in the school theatre.
