“The Imperfects” Plot
“The Imperfects,” directed by Dennis Heaton of “Van Helsing” and “Fargo,” is the story of three 20-something test volunteers who are forced to participate in an experimental gene-therapy project. The end result? They have supernatural talents like as shapeshifting and telekinesis, which have some terrifying negative consequences.
The trio set out to find the mad scientist who carried out the experiment while “being hunted by a government agency, dealing with college applications, teenage romance, random monster mutations, and all sorts of coming-of-age-related tragedies.”
The gripping fantasy trailer also shows the actors in action as they grapple with their newfound supernatural skills and struggle to accept the truth that they are no longer totally human. The new show is essentially a superhero series coupled with horror, like the X-Men team mixed with the “Animorphs” teens — with a lot of fake blood.
Synopsis
“Three young adults in their twenties had no choice but to become monstrosities against the wishes of malevolent scientists. Now, in the aim of correcting the negative effects, they are searching for the crazed individual who is responsible…
In addition to this, they are being pursued by a federal agency, coping with college applications, random monster mutations, teenage romance, and other coming-of-age-related dramas. Oh, and the government agency is equipped with tanks.

After being subjected to Dr. Sarkov's experiments, the bodies of a number of pupils go through transformations that have a profound impact on their lives. As the students struggle to adjust to their new life, they come to the conclusion that they need to track down the individual who is responsible for their mutations.
However, while the students are attempting to adjust to the random mutations that are taking place in their bodies, they become the focus of attention for a federal agency. When you add the stress of trying to get into college on top of that, life just gets that much more difficult for those who aren't ideal.
