The protagonist of The Glory is a woman named Moon Dong-Eun, who is out for vengeance against her school bullies. Song Hye-kyo as Moon Dong-eun
In part 2 of The Glory, she will put her strategy into proper motion. Moon Dong-eun's long-term strategy is to cut off all ties with Park Yeon-jin's loved ones so that she has no one to turn to when Moon Dong-eun succeeds in damaging Park Yeon-jin's life. Jung Ji-So portrayed a younger version of Moon Dong-eun.

Lee Do-hyun as Joo Yeo-Jeong
For the most part, Moon Dong-eun was able to silence Joo Yeo-Jeong throughout the first half of the show. Throughout The Glory Part 1, he fell in love with her to the point where he promised to be her “executioner” and taught her how to play the game of Go over a series of meetings.

Lim Ji-yeon as Park Yeon-jin
The head of the group who destroyed Moon's life all those years ago was a woman named Park Yeon-jin, who used her privileged family ties to escape punishment. As an adult, she's seemingly got it all. Son Myeong-o, who opted to help Moon in her quest for vengeance in Part 1, is thought to have been killed by her.

Jung Sung-il as Ha Do-yeong
Ha Do-yeong is Park Yeon-powerful jin's husband. He is the head of a major construction company and uses the firm's resources to solve any problems that arise. To get closer to the lady who is covertly trying to ruin his wife's life, Moon studied Go from Joo Yeo-jeong, and it seems like it could have worked.

Park Sung-hoon as Jeon Jae-jun
Jeon Jae-jun participated in the harassment of Moon Dong-eun. Park now manages a high-end nightclub, and as an adult, he used Son Myeong-yo as a pawn to get his way. It is hinted that Da-Yeong may have discovered out Dong-eun is the father of Yeon- jin's daughter after Dong-eun's announcement that he is the father of Yeon-jin's daughter.
