The Flash Movie: Despite being one of the fastest superheroes in comics, The Flash's standalone action film has taken its time in theatres. Warner Bros has been attempting to bring the hero to the big screen since 2004, but the DC picture has failed badly for a variety of reasons, including issues with the storyline, the director, or the casting.
Despite roles in The Lego Batman Movie and Justice League, Barry Allen has yet to play the lead in a superhero film. In a plot that will travel to various dimensions and feature both established and new heroes, the Scarlet Speedster will finally get his turn to shine.
Following his appearance in Zack Snyder's Justice League among other important DC characters, Ezra Miller is back in his signature red and gold outfit. The release of The Flash will lead the universe to move in unexpected directions.
And, yes, this is unique from the television series The Arrowverse. During the Crisis on Infinite Earths storyline, Grant Gustin's version of the speedster and Ezra Miller's Barry Allen had a brief encounter due to some Speed Force shenanigans. Now that we've cleared it out, let's move on.
The Flash: Plot
Barry Allen wishes to travel back in time to prevent his mother from being murdered when he was a child, and The Flash will draw inspiration for this from Geoff Johns's The Flashpoint Paradox.
Of course, everyone who has watched a time-travel movie like Back to the Future or The Butterfly Effect knows that changing the past has serious ramifications for the present.

Since The Flash has been featured in comic books for the past 80 years, director Andy Muschietti and screenwriter Christina Hodson will have plenty of plots and opponents to choose from.
Hodson's work on 2019's Birds of Prey must have pleased Warner Bros, as she is presently writing the script for the Batgirl picture with Bad Boys For Life directors Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah. As a result, if Barry saves his mother, the world will take an unusual new turn.
Although it's unclear whether she's playing Kara Zor-El, a.k.a. Supergirl, or a different Superman from somewhere else in the multiverse. After all, she is dressed in a suit that is comparable to Henry Cavill's well-known dark blue ensemble but with bright red shoulders.
Dead According to TMZ, DC superstars Adam West and Christopher Reeve will appear in their respective renditions of Batman and Superman. They will not interact with The Flash; instead, they will only be seen in action in their respective domains for a brief appearance.

The Flash: Release Date
The Flash will be released in theatres on June 23, 2023, after being delayed from November 4, 2022. Given how many releases dates The Flash has had over the previous seventeen years, the fact that it is now making its way to theatres is fairly remarkable.
Even if we solely focus on the DCEU version of the superhero, he was slated to have his own film in 2016. Yes, it's safe to presume it didn't happen.
