Check Out Netflix’s The Fabulous Ending Explaination!

The Fabulous Ending Explained: For the sake of brevity, let's say that “The Fabulous” is the upbeat tale of four friends set against the backdrop of the fashion industry. A more accurate description would be four separate stories that intersect sometimes.

The Fabulous was a very polished & interesting show. Our main gripe is that it wasn't really that great. Even more surprisingly, given K-dramas' reputation for nailing the complexity of every imaginable love feeling, they lacked genuine emotional depth. In any case, without further ado, let's discuss the series' events & the reasons they failed to impress.

The Fabulous Plot Synopsis

In Seoul, South Korea, 4 close friends—Pyo Ji-Eun, Joseph, Ji Woo-min & Ye Seon-ho—are all trying to make it big in the high-end fashion sector. Ji-Eun is a public relations agent at AUDREY, a boutique PR agency that specializes in managing high-end fashion & beauty brands. Seon-ho is a top model; Woo-min is a street photographer & Joseph is an aspiring designer.

They've known each other since high school, but Woo-min & Seon-ho have known each other since they were toddlers. In the past, Woo-min & Ji-Eun had feelings for one another & went on a date, but they are no longer together. The guy that Ji-Eun is seeing right now is named Lee Nam-jin.

The Fabulous Ending Explained

Most people would say he is affluent & perfect, but he ends up breaking up with Ji-Eun because she is too interested in fashion & he would rather chat about current events. Fortunately, Ji-Eun immediately recovers & continues to put in long hours at AUDREY. When combined with her supportive & inspiring manager, Ji-Eun is the ideal employee.

Woo-min, an attractive & hip-street photographer, takes photos as a side hustle. Nearly everyone in the fashion industry agrees that he is the best retoucher working today. After some time, he is hired full-time & assigned random tasks that have nothing to do with his dislike of fashion.

Joseph is wealthy & his lovely & supportive mother encourages his artistic endeavors. He went to Paris to study fashion, then returned home & opened a shop called Mr. Joseph. When Seon-designer ho's boyfriend dumps her in front of her junior models.

It causes a lot of drama between her & the younger models. She made some poor decisions and is now permanently out of the loop. How far will their no-holds-barred approach take them? I say we find out.

The Fabulous Ending Explained

Joseph is getting cold feet as launch time for EARLAINE approaches. He feels that none of his efforts have been sufficient & wishes to scrap the whole project. A tiny bit of peace is restored as he receives friendly encouragement from Ji Eun.

The event is being coordinated by AUDREY & their company has been tapped to handle marketing in Korea on behalf of EARLAINE. A few more businesses have taken notice of her efforts and extended job offers.

Woo Min, meantime, is taking his talents & ambitions as a photographer to foreign soil. He's traveling for work & plans to put in extra hours upon his return. As for Seon Ho, she is once again popular with her fellow models because she stood up for them when they were being bullied.

Finally, now that Ms. Hong knows Thierre Henry & EARLAINE are hanging out with AUDREY, she can “suck up” to Ms. Oh. We have good news: Joseph's performance was a smashing success. Ji Eun decides to remain at AUDREY due to her fondness for both her career & her boss.

Seon Ho takes her profession to the next level by pursuing her ambition to model for the world's top designers in all the major fashion capitals. Ji Eun receives a call as she & her pals stroll around. The buddies joke that they will always be there for one other, no matter what comes their way in life or in the workplace.

Final Thoughts

This show is not terrible, but it's also not really good. Woo Min is just another flaky character we don't care much for & the tensions are too simplistic & easily addressed. The pals are only present without developing any meaningful rapport.

Even “The Fabulous” is playing way too low on sparkle & glamour.  Some of the shows we've seen recently have been disappointing compared to others. What you don't expect from a fashion show is for the clothes or accessories to make a statement.

Ignoring all that & approaching “The Fabulous” as a show about 4 friends having fun will increase your enjoyment of it. Because it lacks that certain something, we will not be recommending it to anyone. We can accept the fact that it was merely passable entertainment.
