I am talking about such a scenario because we have a movie on it named “The Card Counter“. The Card Counter is a 2021 American crime drama film written and directed by Paul Schrader. The film stars Oscar Isaac, Tiffany Haddish, Tye Sheridan, and Willem Dafoe. The film's executive producer is Martin Scorsese. It premiered internationally on September 2, 2021, at the 78th Venice International Film Festival.

He says that the higher-ups were not prosecuted. Only the grunts in the photos were subjected to punishment. He was the one who took responsibility.
Bill recognises that what he did was terrible, but he attempts to move on. Bill wraps every piece of furniture in white blankets in all of the inexpensive hotel rooms he stays in – the avoids staying at casino hotels because they might be able to trace him. It's like being in a spotless room, clean in the sense that his conscience isn't.
