Who is not a fan of the DC universe? I am sure most of us are. Marvel and DC universe has stolen the heart of not only kids but also of adults. But why do you think I am talking about Marvel? It is because in this article I am going to tell you interesting things about “The Batman“.
Do you know that most of the Marvel fans are in the age group of 18-29 and 30-34? As there is a cliche saying, “Never let the child inside you die”.
When you look at those characters, you fantasize yourself in place of them with those superpowers and wealth. One of the most liked characters in the DC universe is Batman, Bruce Wayne. He has the coolest gadgets, including that shiny batmobile, that can make anyone jealous.
But he has a very traumatizing past as well. And what's more exciting is that to solve that piece of the puzzle, DC is coming up with a new movie, “The Batman”, just like “Aquaman And The Lost Kingdom” that stars Jason Mamoa (my one of the favourite GOT-Game of Thrones characters) it is also scheduled to be released in 2022.
I think this will be an amazing piece like other superhero movies, Eternals, Guardians Of Galaxy, and Venom 2.
Story of The Batman
Till now, there is not much information about what will the whole story be about, but I have gathered the information for you. In his second year of combating crime, Batman uncovers corruption in Gotham City that is linked to his own family while confronting the Riddler, a serial murderer.
If you are curious to know about Who is the villain in The Batman? Then here is your answer “Edward Nashton aka Riddler” will be the bad guy. Riddler is a new serial murderer who uses riddles to tease Batman and police enforcement. Batman's Riddler, according to Reeves, is unlike any prior representation of the character, and his portrayal as a serial murderer has attracted similarities to the Zodiac Killer.
A Gist of The Batman
In 2014, Ben Affleck was supposed to be “The Batman”. He also planned to direct, produce and co-write the film. But he stepped down as a writer-director in 2017, whereas Reeves took over his place, which started to work on a younger batman version. Then in 2019, Ben Affleck cut his ties with the franchise. At the place of Ben Affleck, the decision was taken to cast Robert Pattinson, yes you read that right, our Twilight Guy Edward Culling would play the role of Batman. I am more excited to watch this movie now. What about you?
Release Date Story of The Batman
Warner Bros Pictures plans to release Batman in the United States on March 4, 2022. It was initially scheduled to be released on June 25, 2021, but was moved back to October 1, 2021, and again to March 20, 2022, both times owing to Warner Bros. The adjustment to the release date was made due to COVID-19.
Opinions on What People Are Expecting of DC?
All the villains of the DC multiverse are way good; they have a certain persona and character. They leave an everlasting impression on people’s hearts. People are expecting something similar out of the Riddler.
I believe the antagonist will be the main focus of this movie rather than the protagonist Bruce Wayne, but that’s just the half side of the story.
Everyone would like to know about Wayne’s family, the immense wealth that they have accumulated over the years, which is passed hereditarily. Is all the money dirty money? Is Wayne enterprise bad business? And our so-called Batman, who is the owner of Wayne Enterprises, is set out to do good to the people. Has the enterprise been stealing from people?
Suppose DC pulls off this movie by solving these questions the way the people want, this movie will blow off the Box Officer. But time will really show us whether or not this movie became successful.
