The Acolyte: Expected Plot
The plot of The Acolyte can be found in a number of places, such as pictures of the sets, an official description, and, of course, speculation from people who know a lot about the Star Wars universe. The High Republic era is a part of the Disney-made canon that has never been shown on TV before.
As of the time this article was written, neither live-action nor animated shows had taken place during this time. The show will take place 100 years before the events of Star Wars: The Phantom Menace. This means that many of our favorite characters, like Count Dooku, Qui-Jon Jin, and Obi-Wan Kenobi, would not have been born yet.
But that doesn't mean we won't see any familiar faces. During this time, Jedi Masters Yoda, Yaddle, and others are still alive. We also know that Palpatine's Master, Darth Plagueis, was alive during this time, so we might get to see how Darth Sidious was made.
The Acolyte: Release Date
At the moment, there is no exact date for when The Acolyte will be out. So, we think it will come out toward the end of 2023, most likely in the winter of 2023.
