Terrorbane - What We Know So Far

In a joint announcement, publisher WhisperGames and developer BitNine Studio have revealed a release date for their upcoming game tERRORbane. The Switch version of the JRPG-inspired comedy adventure will be released on April 1, 2022.

The game had been revealed last year, and an update at Gamescom confirmed that it would be released in the first quarter of 2022.

Overview

Make your own glitch-filled adventure! In tERRORbane, the player must navigate through a maze of bizarre faults and amusing anomalies, all of which are coated with a sprinkling of video game culture references.

Contribute to (or challenge) the Developer's quest to fix his own game and collect all of the bugs over several, unique playthroughs in order to become the “bane of errors”!

At first glance, tERRORbane appears to be a typical, classic jRPG. However, the game provides much more than the exploration of quaint towns and terrifying dungeons.

It's possible to find a throwback to gaming's greatest moments or an unexpected variation on traditional mechanics around every corner and under every stone in this world of gaming.

Each playtime will require a keen eye and numerous playthroughs to track down every ridiculous and quirky glitch in the game, but each one will reward the player with a hearty chuckle, or at the very least a nostalgic grin.

The following are the most important characteristics:

– Characters with a sense of humor and witty dialogue – There are no bugs!
– There are more video game references than you can shake a stick at – Friendly and cocky, but nonetheless friendly and cocky Developer, to be sure. Take a fresh look at old-school mechanics — There are absolutely no bugs!

– Lands that don't fit neatly into any one genre (fantasy? science fiction? Post-apo? (We have no idea!)
– In all fairness, there may be a few bugs here and there, but you'll assist us in identifying them, right?
