Tekken 8: Fighting game fans have been eagerly waiting for news about when Tekken 8 will come out since it was announced in an exciting way. We don't know much about when the game will come out. Not even rumors or leaks point to a date or time frame.
Since this is a live page where new information comes out all the time, we will add official release information as soon as it comes out. Even so, it would help if you didn't let this keep you from being excited about the game. Tekken 7 was a huge success, and Tekken 8's use of Unreal Engine 5 makes it look like it could be even better.
The graphics are really, really good. The story of Kazuya Mishima and Jin Kazama will continue in Tekken 8, and you can learn everything you need to know about it below. Find out when it's coming out if you can pre-order it if there's a trailer, and which platforms you can play it on by reading on.
When Will Tekken 8 Be Released?
There is no announced release date for Tekken 8. We anticipate it will be released in 2023, most likely in the year's second half, but it could slide into early 2024. After all, it's being built from the ground up with a brand-new engine.
Tekken 8 Gameplay and Plot Information
Tekken 8 picks off where Tekken 7 left off, maintaining Tekken's record as the game series with the longest-running plot. “This new edition will focus on the father and son clash between Kazuya Mishima and Jin Kazama,” according to the PlayStation Blog.
Aside from that and what was seen in the announcement video (see below), little is known about Tekken 8's plot. We'll have to wait and see when the game comes out and we can play through the story mode.
Expect Tekken 8 to play like a Tekken game, with 3D arenas to battle in and spectacular attacks. There is presently no information on how the game will vary from prior editions in terms of fundamental battle mechanics, but we do know it is being built using Unreal Engine 5.
Tekken 8 looks exceptionally great in what we've seen thanks to Unreal Engine 5, even though it wasn't an actual battle but rather a real-time produced video. The game should look at least somewhat like the trailer below. Character models, weather effects, and incredibly realistic surroundings all appear just as they should in the game.
What Platforms and Consoles Can Play Tekken 8?
Tekken 8 will come out on the PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. There are no signs of a Switch port, and the game doesn't seem to be coming to the PS4 or Xbox One from the last generation. This is probably because the older hardware and the game's use of Unreal Engine 5 don't work well together.
Is There a Trailer for Tekken 8?
We told you that Tekken 8 is a good-looking game, and the atmospheric and impressive reveal trailer below proves it:
