Ted Lasso Season 3: Updates You Need to Know Today!

We're back on the field! Following Ted Lasso's rapid success on Apple TV+, there was a lot of excitement for season 3. Before the show's four Emmy awards at the 2021 Emmys were announced, producer and star Jason Sudeikis expressed how much it meant to him and his team to receive so much affection in return for their efforts.

“Flattered. We can't believe what we're hearing. “I mean, we're trying to make people laugh and have a good time, and we're doing it in a specific way,” he told E! News on the red carpet of the 2021 Academy Awards ceremony.

This is just frosting on the cake because we had no idea how many people would be interested in what we were putting down. The fact that the critics have embraced it as well as the Academy has been terrific, to say the least,” says the actor.

During his acceptance speech after receiving the award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series, the Saturday Night Live alum raved about how amazing the series was and how much he enjoyed it.

“Thank you very much for your assistance. “Yeah, it's been a crazy year,” he added. “I would argue that the theme of this show is family. Mentors and teachers are the focus of this presentation. The focus of this presentation is on teamwork. And I wouldn't be where I am now if it weren't for those three things in my life.”

Despite the fact that people simply wanted more Ted Lasso after season 2, the show's creators, Bill Lawrence, Jason Sudeikis, and Brendan Hunt, had previously announced their plans to wrap up the tale after season 3 in an earlier interview.

During an interview with Entertainment Weekly in June 2021, the Portlandia alum stated how he “sees, knows, and understands” the tale that is being delivered over the course of three seasons. “I'm delighted they're willing to pay for those three seasons,” said the author. What happens after that is anyone's guess at this point. “I really don't know.”

In addition, Hunt, who also appears on the show as Coach Beard, stated: “I think we've always intended for it to be three seasons.” Considering how much everyone loves this show, I think it would be very fantastic if we could keep to our guns and only do three seasons.”
