The Apple TV PLUS hit show Ted Lasso Season 2 has finally arrived! And yes, this time it’s WAY MORE than Soccer. Just like Ted Lasso Season 1, it is expected to be awesome and a good-to-spend-time option in the gloomy days of 2021. Just to recap, Season 1 was such a hit that makers and Apple TV Plus have already announced Ted Lasso Season 3.
But let’s stick to Ted Lasso Season 2 only as that’s the primary reason you’re here! In this article, we will be discussing several topics such as the release date for the remaining episodes, critics and audience reviews, cast of Ted Lasso, how you can get the exclusive merchandise and much more!
NOTE: There will be a basic discussion of Ted Lasso Season 1, so SPOILERS ALERT. If you’re yet to watch Season 1, please skip a few sections of this article. We don’t want to be the reason for your fun being spoiled.

Ted Lasso Season 2 Storyline
At the end of Season 1, Episode 10, Nate gets promoted to a coach. Nate shows an inspirational interview of Jamie; however, no one wants to watch it due to Jamie insulting the team. While all this is already happening, Rebecca becomes the reason to inspire Ted to cause all the chaos to confuse the other team. In the second half, Manchester City is taking the lead by 1-0, but because of Richmond’s trick to play set-piece, the match results in a tie.
The next morning, Ted attempts to resign after meeting Rebecca. But she’s too smart, as we know and rebuffs him. Right in the next scene, they both are seen deciding to win the next season promotion. Once they’re back, they plan to win the Premier League!
The first episode of Season 2 begins mid-season as Richard has drawn the last 7 matches! While preparing to kick the game-winning penalty, Dani accidentally killsRichmond’s greyhound mascot Earl. This happens due to jumping in front of the goal only to attack the bird. Due to losing his football skills, Dani is guilt-ridden. Meanwhile, Roy is dating Keeley when coaching an under 9 girls Football team. Rebecca’s new boyfriend John and Roy Keeley go on a double date, but Roy ends up convincing Rebecca that she definitely deserves someone far better than John!
