Superman and Lois Season 2-“Superman & Lois,” the most recent drama based in the Arrowverse timeline, premiered on The CW earlier this year to critical and popular acclaim. Tyler Hoechlin played an older and wiser Clark Kent, a.k.a. Superman, in a repeat of his former “Supergirl” guest performance. After a family tragedy, Clark and Lois Lane (Elizabeth Tulloch) move to Clark's hometown of Smallville, Kansas, with their teenage boys Jonathan and Jordan. Emmanuelle Chriqui as Lana Lang, an old friend of Clark's; Erik Valdez as Kyle Cushing, Lana's husband; Dylan Walsh as General Sam Lane, Lois' father; and Wolé Parks as John Henry Irons, nicknamed Steel, all appear to be slated to return for Season 2. This might change, but no major changes have been disclosed during the break, and as Season 2 is now in development, it appears probable that the programme will return in 2022 with a full cast.
What is the plot of Season 2 of Superman & Lois?
Season 2 might cover the ramifications of millionaire Morgan Edge exposing himself as Tal-Rho, Kal-half-brother El's who is hell-bent on resurrecting Krypton on Earth. This not only implies that Superman isn't the sole “last son of Krypton,” but it also implies that Edge intends to destroy Clark's adopted world. Tulloch posted a snapshot of the script for Episode 201 on September 14, likely to celebrate her return to work on the Season 2 set. The episode title “What Lies Beneath” is visible on the script. It's an ominous title, so make whatever crazy guesses you like.
