Super 8 Movie Cast In 2022 | Where Are They Now?

As an interim project for J.J. Abrams in 2011, he took a trip back in time to 1979 to tell his most personal story in Super 8, a Spielbergian coming-of-age monster thriller featuring Joel Courtney and Elle Fanning in their pre-fame roles, as well as the dependable acting talents of Kyle Chandler, Noel Fisher, and Kyle MacLachlan.

Griffiths appeared in R.L. Stine's The Haunting Hour in the same year this film was released. His acting career has subsequently stalled, and he hasn't acted in anything since.

Ryan Lee (Cary McCarthy)

Gabriel Basso appeared in J.J. Abrams's Super 8 as Martin Reed, the principal actor in the group's amateur zombie film. Basso went on to star in The Kings of Summer in 2012, a year after he appeared in this film.

Additional roles include Steam, Insult to Injury, Dreams of an Angel, and Raspberry Magic.

In addition, on television, Zach Mills appeared in Rita Rocks, Numb3rs, Rules of Engagement, October Road, Malcolm in the Middle, Cold Case, Ghost Whisperer, and Scrubs. Mills had a guest appearance in Clue after his role in Super 8. The young actor's final appearance on the big screen will be in this T.V. show.

As the town's Deputy and Joe's dysfunctional father, J.J. Abrams's Super 8 casts Kyle Chandler as a stern father figure. Coach Eric Taylor, the character he played on N.B.C.'s Friday Night Lights, earned him an Emmy nomination and won for the actor.

He was nominated for an Emmy for his guest appearance on Grey's Anatomy. He was also nominated for two Emmy Awards for his portrayal in Bloodline. Aside from Early Edition, he also appeared in and produced Homefront, What About Joan? The Lyons Den and several other films. Catch-22, Robot Chicken, and King of the Hill are among his other notable screen appearances.

As Jen Kaznyk, AJ Michalka appeared in the 2011 film Super 8 as a cameo appearance. Also, she portrayed Lainey Lewis on A.B.C.'s The Goldbergs as the sain female lead. Michalka's sister, Aly Michalka, is one half of the musical duet Aly & A.J.

For the spin-off series Schooled, she showed the same character. Michalka also had a role in the Netflix series She-Ra and the Princesses of Power as the voice of a significant nature. Additionally, she provided a spokesperson for the animated series Steven Universe. Oliver Beene, The Guardian, Six Feet Under, General Hospital, Hellcats, and Silicon Valley are among her other prominent television roles.

J.J. Abrams' Super 8 casts Ron Eldard as Alice's father, Louis Dainard, whom Jackson holds responsible for the murder of Joe's mother. Eldard portrays a man tormented by guilt. This is not Eldard's only role; he also appeared in the films Drop Dead Fred and Sleepers, as well as Black Hawk Down's Michael Durant.

Billions, The Spy, White Collar, The Walking Dead, Master of None, The West Wing, N.Y.P.D. Blue, and Law & Order: S.V.U. is among his other television roles. Emmerich's most recent role was in the Netflix series Space Force.

Noah Emmerich has also appeared in films such as The Truman Show, Miracle, and Little Children as Louis Coltrane, Craig Patrick, and Larry Hedges. Additional film roles include those in Frequency, Windtakers, and Cellular, as well as 1999 releases Life (1999), Beautiful Girls (1999), The Wilde Wedding (2000), and Crazy in Alabama (1999).

In addition to his role in Terminator: The Sarah Conner Chronicles. Jones is currently seen on A.B.C. as Sergeant Wade Grey. A short film called Fool for Your Love will follow.
