Succession, Jesse Armstrong created the American satirical black comedy-drama and family saga television series The series follows the Roy family, owners of Waystar RoyCo, a global media and entertainment corporation.

It is an Emmy Winning Award series, introduced on HBO on June 3, 2018.The show has been renewed for a fourth season, which will premiere in March, 2023.

Succession Season 4: Release Date

The official release date of Succession Season 4 is Mar 26, 2023 on its original platform HBO. Series of season 4 would be of 10 episodes. The series has released 29 episodes in three seasons. Season 1, 2, and 3 of series have been released in Aug 2018, Oct 2019, Dec 2021 respectively.

Succession Season 4: Plot

Season three of Succession ended with many questions which may be answered in season 4 . The Roy family is as broken as ever, Logan Roy's health remains in doubt, and outside forces have merged around the family business, threatening its future. In Season 4. you would see the consequence of Logan and Caroline divorce agreement.

Recap of Succession Season 3

After Kendall's press conference, Logan's circle of  divided into two teams: he, Tom, Karl, Frank and Hugo station themselves in Sarajevo (as Bosnia-Herzegovina has no extradition treaty with the U.S.) while Roman, Gerri and Shiv are sent back to New York. Finally, Gerri is named CEO.

Shiv, Roman, and Connor meet Kendall, apparently to talk him out of his whistleblower campaign. Kendall tries to persuade his siblings to join him. Kendall also meets with Stewy and Sandi Furness (Sandy's daughter) and propose a partnership. Greg consults with Ewan, who hires his personal attorney to represent him. Logan returns to New York and appoints Shiv as President of Domestic Operations at Waystar.

To improve their public profiles ,Logan declines to cooperate with the Department of Justice's impending investigation and tries to persuade White House aide Michelle-Anne Vanderhoven to grant him presidential favours. Kendall tries to destroy Shiv's speech and an angry Shiv hits back by publishing an open letter questioning Kendall's mental health and invoking numerous details from his private life,  Shiv asks Connor and Roman for help in publishing but they refuse to sign it. Shiv's letter goes viral, and ruined Kedall late-night comedy shows.

Shiv successfully persuades anchor Mark Raven  head to change direction on his editorial position, but she finds little respect or support from within the company or from Logan. . Greg informs him that after meeting with Logan, he has signed an agreement with Waystar's legal defense team.

Both Kendall and Logan's factions attempt to broker a settlement with Stewy and Sandi (largely negotiating on behalf of her sick father) at the Waystar RoyCo annual shareholder meeting. Logan, who has a urinary tract infection, initially refuses Sandy's terms but becomes increasingly disorganized, forcing the other children and senior management to negotiate on his behalf. The vote is stopped while Shiv and Sandi work out a deal that gives either side an extra board seat.

Kendall, dissatisfied with Lisa's services, fires her and hires new counsel. Meanwhile, the rest of the Roys travel to Richmond, Virginia, to attend the Future Freedom Summit, a conservative political charity event aimed at selecting a new presidential candidate for the upcoming election.Logan breaks contact with Kendall. Kendall arrives in Virginia and meets with Tom secretly. Shiv supports Congressman Rick Salgado, a traditional conservative who suggests to Shiv that he can make her Waystar CEO, while Roman favours Jeryd Mencken.  Despite Shiv's protests, Logan decides to support Mencken.

The company learns that the DOJ investigation is weakening and will most probably result in a settlement. Tom is overjoyed that he will not have to serve time in prison. Logan learns that the CEO of streaming giant GoJo, Lukas Matsson, has declined to meet with him personally.  Kendall receives a gift from Roman and Logan: an offer to buy out his shares in Waystar for $2 billion. Shiv is annoyed to learn that she has been rejected as a beneficiary.

The Roys head to Tuscany  for Caroline's wedding . Kendall demands a dinner meeting with Logan, during which he requests the $2 billion buyout to permanently divorce himself from his “evil” father, but Logan refuses. Logan accepts the new terms, but Waystar's meeting with GoJo's bankers , when Roman sends a photo of his private part to Logan rather than Gerri. Kendall floats facedown in his pool, slowly allowing his head to sink into the water.

Kendall is rescued from his swimming pool. Logan and Roman go to meet Matsson, who proposes that GoJo acquire Waystar with him as CEO while Logan exits with a resolution. Roman attends Caroline's wedding, where he and Shiv learn that Logan has decided to sell the company without their input. Shiv informs Tom on the way, who strangely offers Greg a chance at significant advancement within the company. Logan informs his children that he and Caroline have revised their divorce agreement.  Logan is revealed to have received information about the children's revolt from Tom.
