Stray, the upcoming adventure video game from BlueTwelve Studio and Annapurna Interactive, will allow indie gamers to take on the role of a furry and four-legged character. It is the subject of this one-of-a-kind story to discover what it is like to be a stray cat in a cyberpunk world. Stray has quickly risen to the top of the list of the year's most anticipated titles, and many fans are eager to learn more about it. This page contains all of the information we currently have about Stray, including a release window, a game trailer, and other media.
What is Stray?
Stray will be released in June 2020, according to Annapurna Interactive, as part of PlayStation's Future of Gaming showcase. According to a PlayStation Blog post published at the time, the game's developers, Koola and Viv, had been working on the project for several years before it was announced. HK Project, on the other hand, was the game's original name at the time.
Stray casts players in the role of a cat who has been separated from his family for an unknown reason. When he is on his way home, he must pass through a dystopian-looking futuristic city that is populated by robotic drones and robot workers. Some people will be friendly and willing to assist him, but others are not so accommodating.

According to Viv's blog post, she explained why they chose a cat as the main character.
The endless stream of gameplay ideas that cats provide for us is a testament to their playful, cute, and lovingly annoying nature. Viv went on to say that it is also a “very unique point of view for an adventure game.” Exploring the strange world we're creating feels particularly new when you're sneaking under a car or walking the rooftops with the residents below completely unaware of your presence. Alternatively, if you don't want them to be aware, you can simply meow incessantly to annoy them.”

There is no set date for the release of Stray at this time. However, the studio stated on Twitter in July 2021 that it hoped to have a release date of “early 2022” in place.
“Because we do not want to compromise on quality or the well-being of the team, we have set an early 2022 deadline.” The tweet stated, “Thank you for your understanding, and we can't wait to show you even more next year!”.

Stray will be released on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC, with the PlayStation 4 version being the first to receive the title. For the time being, it appears that fans of the Nintendo Switch and Xbox will not be able to get their hands on this. It is unclear whether or not the game will only be available for a limited time.
Is there a trailer?
After more than a year of anticipation, fans were finally treated to the first glimpse of Stray gameplay in a new trailer released in 2021, as seen above. As a result of the game's open-world design, players will be able to explore both the high points (rooftops) and the low points (underground) of this “unwelcoming” city.
Puzzle-solving and platforming will be incorporated into the game, as well as some action. A cat outruns deadly enemies and later discovers a futuristic weapon with which to eliminate them in some of the trailer's scenes. Stray appears to be a mix of the best and the worst of everything.
