Even though the music played an unexpectedly prominent role in the first half of the fourth volume of Netflix‘s Stranger Things, the first volume never gave Eddie Munson the sick guitar that was seen in this season’s earliest previews.
The first teaser for Stranger Things Volume 2 shows the outgoing monarch of Hawkins High School’s Hellfire Club finally acquiring his axe just in time for an epic battle in the Upside Down.
It was established that Eleven and her friends are indeed one of the only groups capable of taking down the creature as it tries to enter their world from the Upside Down in Stranger Things 4 Volume 1, which finally revealed the origins of Vecna. This evil presence has been menacing Hawkins for years.
Vecna has been a threat to Hawkins for as long as the series has been running. In the latest promotional video, everyone is shown to be under tremendous stress as they are being drawn back to Hawkins with new information about what they are up against and how serious the threat that Vecna poses to them.
Even though Dr. Martin Brenner isn’t sure that Eleven’s newly restored powers are sufficient for her to go toe-to-toe with the first of her superhuman kind, Vecna’s approach leaves her with no choice but to return to her hometown to confront him head-on. This is even though Dr. Martin Brenner is certain that Eleven will be able to beat him.
Trailer For Stranger Things Season 4 Part 2
The teaser for Season 3 of “Stranger Things” does not reveal when or how Eleven will reunite with her companions in this installment. Still, it does show glimpses of them all traveling into the Upside Down, presumably to force Vecna to submit to the influence of Kate Bush’s music.
The focus on Eddie coming and finding a guitar strongly implies that when Stranger Things 4 Volume 2 hits Netflix on July 1st, the epic fight it builds toward will be one heck of a jam session.
While glimpses of Max’s tape player imply that she will have a role in taking the demon down, the focus on Eddie coming across a guitar firmly says that when Stranger Things 4 Volume 2 hits Netflix on July 1st, the devil will be taken down.
