ZEE5 is back with an all action-packed thriller, another original release going by the name ‘State of siege: Temple Attack'. After ‘Abhay', Ken Ghosh is on to directing another thriller packed with suspense. In this movie, you will get to witness a commendable acting performance of Akshaye Khanna for the very first time over an OTT platform. He assumes the role of an NSG officer, and the box office could not stop praising him for his power pack performance.
This movie has been wonderful just like Hallo ho– A movie on revolution that was led by women for their own rights and freedom, Bell Bottom which is based on Real-life hijacking incidents of india during the 1980s.
Theme of State of Siege: Temple Attack
After the massive hit of State of siege:26/11, a series with over eight episodes, ZEE5 is presenting its sequel. The story is based on a real incident that shook the nerves of millions in the year 2002—a terror attack on the Akshardham temple in Gujarat, with all the devotees inside held hostage.
Reign of Terror
The attack will give the audience reminisce of the Mumbai Taj attack but this time from the point of view of NSG, a counter-terrorism force under the Ministry of Home Affairs. The “black cats of our armed forces” are always on high alert to save us from such threats. With a delicate situation at hand, the team of NSG commandos has been called to take over the mission from local police.
The movie begins with 4 terrorists making their way to the heart of the temple with heavy firing, killing all civilians on their way. The terror must have been petrifying. With some slight changes to the real incident, the movie has done its best to capture the terror and fright in the air that people went through during the real attack.
A tribute to the Army personnel
The mission was led by Major Hanut Singh, played by Akshay Khanna. The story follows up with Major Hunt Singh still being traumatized by the loss of his colleague on his precious excursion.
When we see a commando (played by Gautam Rode) being stranded between his duty as a husband (with his wife in labour) and as an army officer (thousands of lives depending on each and every move), we feel how soldiers put their personal lives online for the nation.
These soldiers will safeguard the pride of the nation with their blood. The movie is a small tribute to the immense sacrifice these soldiers go on making every day.
Double Blow for Gujarat
Gujarat was just on the verge of recovery from riots in the town until it encountered another terrorist attack. Terrorist organizations led by Abu Hamza demanded the release of their leader Bilal Naikoo. The pressure was being built upon politicians to choose the release of terrorists or barter it for people's life. But Major Hanut Singh will save the day by rescuing all but some innocent lives will be lost too.
