So How is the Hometown Cha-cha-cha Special?
The characters are extremely lovable
As two people with completely opposite personalities, their first encounter might spark immediate feelings that make viewers’ hearts skip a beat.
However, Yoon Hye Jin and Hong Doo Shik’s love will be one that builds up slowly and steadily based on ever-changing feelings. The drama, therefore, will focus on how each of them feels and how these feelings evolve over time. Each character has its own beauty, but when the two characters are together, their blossoming synergy will be fascinating to watch.
In addition, the other villagers also will be extremely lovable. A unique story is devoted to each one, from the youngest child to the eldest grandmother, and the way they all synchronize with each other as missing pieces of a puzzle will be great to watch.
A Symposium of Day to day life and Platonic Romance
With each new character adding to the story, the writers have come up with this unique way to ensure that each heartwarming tale takes centre stage, and it is all one large chronicle, not a main plot plus a side plot. These small subplots add even more restorative depth to Hong Du-sik and Yoon Hye-jin’s relationship.
As Yoon Hye Jin settles into the village file while progressing in her romance with Hong Doo Shik, the character arcs of the villagers will offer comic relief at some times while otherwise make the viewers’ heartbeat with sympathy.
In conclusion, viewers will find that the drama’s genre is of a romance that has comforting and healing properties.
The chemistry of love
The series is directed by Yoo Je Won, who has been well known in the K-drama industry for the genesis of legendary couple romance in the dramas such as “Oh My Ghostess” and “tomorrow with You”.
Alongside the director are the actor’s Shin Min Ah and Kim Seon Ho, whose names alone are enough to make drama fans giddy with excitement. Viewers can expect the drama to be filled with various forms of chemistry between the characters.
