Sonia Pizarro, who was a regular on the show Operation Repo on truTv, has passed away. She was in her sixties. Ex-husband and co-star Froylan Tercero broke the news of the reality star's passing on Thursday via Instagram.
Tercero wrote, “It is with great sadness that I inform you of Sonia's passing; while she was known by many as a “bada— chick” who “kicked some serious a,” she will always be more to me as my ex-wife and the mother of my son. Her name is still permanently inked on my stomach.”
Tercero announced to his 12,400 Twitter followers that he would be taking a break from the platform. At the end of his message, he thanked Pizarro for “all the good mementos” they had enjoyed together.

No official cause of death has been given, but Lyndah Pizarro, Pizarro's niece and co-star on Operation Repo, informed TMZ that her aunt “died Wednesday night in Arizona in her sleep.”
IMDb says that Pizarro's truTv series, which ran from 2007 to 2014, gave viewers an inside look at “the fast-paced, high-pressure world of car repossession with a team of highly trained professionals from California's San Fernando Valley.”
Pizarro had a stroke while driving in May of 2018, and her family informed her devoted following through a GoFundMe campaign that she had “lost her ability to speak and her basic motor functions.” There were $580 in donations made to the cause.
In June, Pizarro's loved ones turned to Instagram to report that she was “a little bit better.” This was the last time we heard from them.
It will take a long time for her to recover the strength in her legs and right side through physical treatment. Her ability to speak is slowly coming back, and she wants everyone to know how much she appreciates everyone's help.
