Fans of movies and TV shows all over the world have recently become interested in Sky High: The Series and nearly all of them believe it to be a continuation or redo of the 1996 superhero picture of the same name.
When they found out it was a brand new series with an altogether new idea, it was a huge letdown. Yet, Spanish criminal thrillers have long been recognized as a superb kind of entertainment, with titles such as The Invisible Guest, Mirage, and The Body serving as examples.
Hasta el cielo: La serie, the Spanish name for “Sky High: The Series,” will be the name of the next crime drama. This show is a follow-up to the 2020 film Sky High and features well-known actors including Luis Tosar, Asia Ortega, and Alvaro Rico.
It stands to reason that curiosity about the show would be high given its status as one of Netflix's most anticipated originals this year. All right, here's what we know about the upcoming Spanish thriller Sky High: The Series.
Sky High: The Series Release Date: When is It Going to Release?
The release of Sky High: The Series, an action-thriller series on Netflix, has been set. Like the 2020 Spanish film of the same name, this one is an action thriller. The official release date is set for March 17, 2023.

Let's Take a Glance at The Cast & Crew of Sky High: The Series! Asia Ortega plays the lead role, Sole, a young widow who is determined to make the most of her situation. She has been in a number of successful films & TV shows, including the Netflix zombie thriller Valley of the Dead, While Angels Sleep & The Boarding School: Las Cumbres & Your Son, in which she reprised her role from the original film.
The actor who played Rogelio in the first film, Luis Tosar, will make a cameo as Sole's spouse in the next installment. In addition to Celda 211 and The Minions of Midas, his other significant works include Miracle Valley and the horror film Sleep Tight, released in 2011.
Not only that, but the majority of the original film's cast, including Richard Holmes, Fernando Cayo, Patricia Vico, Ayax Pedrosa & Dollar Selmouni, will return for the TV series. Moreover, Alvaro Rico plays Fernan, Jarfaiter plays Tono, Alana Jeque plays Rosa, Alejandro Marzal plays Antonio & Carmen Sanchez plays Marta.
Daniel Calparsoro, who directed the 2020 precursor film Sky High, is at the head of the series. Damian Romero, who scored Operation Marea Negra and Tales to Stay Alive, will score Sky High: The Series.
