Mitsumi Iwakura is a brilliant high school student who, after finishing junior high school in the countryside of Ishikawa Prefecture, relocated to Tokyo in order to continue her education at a high school there.
Mitsumi spent her childhood in a sparsely populated region, and she was one of only eight students in her class.
However, on the day of her matriculation ceremony, she is caught up in the rush of commuters and becomes disoriented, which causes her life plan to quickly become disrupted.
Mitsumi receives a phone call from a tall and handsome boy who had been concerned about her and decides to accompany her to school on a daily basis.
