Sing 2 Release Date: Cast, Plot, Trailer And News

Just like its predecessor, Sing, the sequel Sing is wowing audiences with its bouncy energy, large star-studded cast, and upbeat renditions of popular songs. When it was first released, the original animated musical comedy was met with applause and admiration at the box office.

It also had an opulent cast of animal performers who were stars in their own right. It quickly became a tremendous sensation with spectators as the animals danced the night away, and Sing 2 is just as much fun as the first film. Everyone in the household will have fun with this activity!

The Release Date of Sing 2

What Happens in the Sequel Sing 2?

The cast and crew of New Moon Theater are about to embark on a new adventure, and they have an ambitious goal in mind. They have their sights set on putting on a new show at the Crystal Tower Theatre in Redshore City, but since Buster Moon (played by Matthew McConaughey) does not have any connections to the glitzy city, he and his gang decide to break into the distinguished Crystal Entertainment offices. Their goal is to watch the premiere of their new show.

They have great expectations that their crazy last-minute presentation would please the ruthless wolf owner Jimmy Crystal (Bobby Cannavale), and they promise that their new program will include the secretive lion rock sensation Clay Calloway (Bono).

The fact that Buster has never met rock superstar Clay presents an immediate challenge, as Clay has been reclusive ever since the passing of his wife more than a decade ago, and he hasn't reemerged into public view since that time. But it doesn't take long until Buster and the rest of the crew start brainstorming ways in which they might convince him to return to the stage.

The Cast of Sing 2

Sing 2 does indeed have a big array of A-List actors and actresses. Reese Witherspoon will play Rosita, the mother pig, Scarlett Johansson will play Ash, the rockstar porcupine, and Matthew McConaughey will play Koala, the optimistic koala.

Other notable stars will also be repeating their roles. Buster Moon, Taron Egerton as the ardent gorilla Johnny, Tori Kelly as the reticent elephant Meena, and Nick Kroll as the pig extraordinaire Gunter are the actors that star in this film.
