There's a new hulk in town! She-Hulk has been given the green light by Marvel, so Bruce Banner will have some company in the green-giant department. Tatiana Maslany will portray Jennifer Walters, Bruce Ruffalo's cousin, who is also struck by gamma rays and inherits Bruce's talents. Even if she turns green, Jennifer won't lose her unique individuality, unlike Bruce Banner, who must deal with being the Hulk.

At the 2021 Disney+ Day celebration, Marvel Studios debuted the first footage from the upcoming She-Hulk film, which featured Tatiana Maslany as Jennifer Walters. However, we just saw a glimpse of Jennifer's body in green. However, Bruce (Ruffalo), Jennifer's cousin, was on hand to help her control her gamma powers. At the 12:34 mark of the Marvel Day presentation on Disney+, you can see the clip.
She-Hulk Casting
She-Hulk is a fantastic choice for the role. It was revealed that Emmy-winning actress Tatiana Maslany will be playing Jennifer Walters in the show during the Disney stockholders conference in December 2020, confirming casting rumours that have been swirling since September. With her amazing performance in BBC America's Orphan Black, which had her play 14 vastly different clones over the course of the series, Maslany has become a fan favourite actor. More recently, she appeared in the first season of HBO's Perry Mason revival, in which she co-starred with Matthew Rhys.
Bruce Banner will be played by Mark Ruffalo in the upcoming film She-Hulk. Feige revealed in December 2020 that Mark Ruffalo will participate in the Disney+ series as Bruce Banner, dubbed The Hulk, and that the series will premiere in 2019.
An old-school villain is making a comeback. Tim Roth will reprise his role as The Abomination, the villain he first appeared as in The Incredible Hulk (2008), which was the second MCU film to be released. The original film had Edward Norton as the titular hero, with Mark Ruffalo taking over the role for The Avengers.
There's a recognisable figure among the revellers. Jameela Jamil, who previously appeared on A Good Place, is allegedly joining the cast. Even though Marvel has yet to confirm it, Variety reports that Jamil would play Titania, a super-strong foe of She-Hulk who has superhuman power.
You may expect to see a lot of your favourite MCU characters. She-Hulk “will welcome a plethora of Marvel characters to the series,” according to a series synopsis published by Disney in December 2020.
First Showing Date
There's no word on when She-Hulk will hit Disney+, but based on the rest of Marvel's Disney+ lineup, we should expect it in 2022.
Character
What is the identity of She-Hulk? We're referring to Jennifer Walters, a brilliant lawyer who provides pro bono legal services to a variety of Marvel superheroes. Stan Lee and artist John Buscema invented her, making her debut in the 1980's issue of Savage She-Hulk #1.
According to Disney+'s She-Hulk synopsis released in December 2020, Jennifer Walters is “a lawyer who specializes in superhuman-oriented legal disputes” in the show.
While She-origin Hulk's story in the upcoming series is still a mystery, the comics may provide some insight into how Jennifer gains her Hulk abilities. In the comics, Jen is shot by a henchman of a crime leader who has a vendetta against her father, the sheriff.
It just so happens that her cousin Bruce Banner is the sole blood donor with the correct type of blood for her emergency transfusion. Her new gamma ray-infused blood unleashes her Hulk, complete with green skin and claws.
She-Hulk shares many of the same superpowers as her relative, including super strength, super speed, and super green coloration. Instead of turning into a big, green baby monster as Bruce did in previous MCU films, Jen maintains her intelligence and emotional control as She-Hulk.
In more recent comics, Jen doesn't only go through transformations; she stays that way all the time.
The Design Team
A female power team is in charge of She-operations. Hulk's Rick and Morty's head writer is Jessica Gao, who earned an Emmy for writing the episode “Pickle Rick” in the Rick and Morty television series.
