Severance Season 2: You can watch the first season of Severance as many times as you want, but it will still be hard to wait for Season 2. At least we now have some news to talk about, like the fact that filming has begun and eight new cast members have been added, including John Noble, Gwendoline Christie, and Merritt Wever, among others.
Now is a good time to start taking bets on who will play a severed employee. The sci-fi drama, which used to be called “the best show no one was talking about,” was picked up for a second season by Apple TV+ before the first season was even over. Read on to find out everything we know so far about Season 2 of Severance.
When Will Season 2 of Severance Come Out?
It took us a couple of years to make S1. Hope you can hang in!

Season 2 of the show is already being filmed, but we don't know when we'll get to see new episodes. Stiller told us this back in April when a fan asked him on Twitter how long we would have to wait. He said that we should all choose to be patient.
Who Will Be in the Cast of Severance Season 2?
Since almost every major character was left hanging at the end of Season One, it's safe to assume that all your favorite actors will be back, including Adam Scott, Patricia Arquette, John Turturro, Christopher Walken, Britt Lower, Tramell Tillman, Zach Cherry, and Dichen Lachman. Bob Balaban, Robby Benson, Stefano Carannante, Gwendoline Christie, John Noble, lÓlafur Darri Ólafsson, Alia Shawkat, and Merritt Wever are just some of the new actors who have joined the cast.
What Will Happen in Season 2 of Severance?
Mark is a worker at Lumon Industries who works in the Macro data Refinement division. He is laid off. After his wife Gemma dies, he decides to take part in the title's severance program. This splits his memory into two parts: his “innie” only remembers his work life with his coworkers, while his “outie” doesn't remember anything about work.
He works with Dylan, Irving, and “Helly R.” “Helly R.” is a new employee who is having a hard time adjusting. She even tried to kill herself, but her “outie” turned down her resignation, which is the same as locking her up. The end of Season 1 was one of the most dramatic cliffhangers in the last 10 years.
Helly R found out that she is actually Helena Eagan, the heir to Lumon. Irving showed up at Burt's door after they had a romantic moment in Lumon, but he was already in a relationship. And we last saw Dylan being tackled to the ground by Milchick after he let the “innies” escape for a short time.
Erickson says that this trip into the outside world will have an effect on the plot of Severance Season 2. He told Esquire, “There will definitely be some growth in the world.”Within Lumon, we'll see more of the building and more of the outside world.”
Is There a Trailer for Severance Season 2?
There is no official Severance season 2 trailer yet, however, we did get a very quick teaser during Apple's iPhone 14 event in September 2022. The film merely shows Helly getting off a metro train, either on her way home or to her Lumon office, thus it doesn't reveal anything about the second season of the show.
Still, it's a cute little Easter egg film that demonstrates how much Apple is relying on another of its signature shows (like Ted Lasso before it) to entice users to its streaming service.
Where Can I Watch Severance?
